"SUBXERO" Was actually made within the guild by fellow members who allowed him to use it along side his own gear. Didn't come from China being the reason it still exists without a ban.

I'm calling it.
Soma has officially lost it's status as a game and has become the world's first online reality soap opera. This kinda shit is what drove me away before, and will drive me away again. Who cares what player A does or what player B thinks of it. The majority of the community comes in 2 flavours. Dickheads and whiney snowflakes. It's like a primary school playground on here for fuck's sake. Everyone needs to just get over themselves and their petty feuds/squabbles/jealousy/rivalry and play the game, because that is what it is supposed to be, just a game. Just enjoy it and worry less about what everyone else may or may not be up to. #donewiththisshitshowcommunity

But the website is the first thing prospective new players see. Can't drive away players that don't join to begin with.
Cheating obviously is wrong, but there's a system to deal with cheating and as far as I'm aware it doesn't include whining or abusing/accusing on the forums.

@Ryu, true the forum may well appear to be a soap opera but it shows the game is alive with passionate players. Whilst not perfect it's better than a forum which has no recent posts in it.

Limited uc here.. Would be nice if every1 could think a bit more about their actions.. respect others a bit more. More players that are happy..the bigger the uc.. and proly better for all tbh

i think isylver should shut down server for a few day tbh so everyone can enjoy real life rather then soma
we all are toxic, threads like this shouldn't be posted, if i was a new player and i saw threads like this i wouldn't even install the game i think we all need a break from soma, the amount of crap we all post am shocked we get double drop/exp or even events due to the way we act ingame and on forum no doubt someone will say something to me to try and get a ruse outta me, well not anymore :)

"host a podcast".... lets look. there has always been a steady(low but steady) flow of new players (most of them for nostalgia reasons{just wanted to hit targets they never did in there teens}) just was hapens with classic games ppl pick then up and put them down. i have seen the usercount go up and down as the years have gone on but never really seen what i would call a big jump in new players in one go.. Naw your podcast i will say "hats off to you" as it can only really help/benefit the server... however... when you talk to people who have quit / thinking about giving up 70-80%(no exaggeration) matty / tom are part of the reason (griefing, abuse, lvling chars getting jumped by 4-5 max chars, general toxicity put out or the fact that we have all seen ppl get banned/suspended for a lot less then they do/say). then lets add in the fact that i have seen you bragging about haw DL dont play cos of you and tom (its something else you wona take the credit for) even if we do give you full credit for all the hand full of new players there have been, we can also give you credit for chasing the same ppl away a few months later, along with older players who have had enuff of seing ur shit (no one gets to play the "GAME" to "RELAX" when you are about). so yes the POD CAST is good for the server but as for you, YOU really are bad for the server and its longevity as you have made more ppl quit then join the server. if you cant see that then you either way to ignorant or just thick as shit. It would seem the majority of people complaining are those who see Matt/VK as their enemy. I agree toxicity is not good for the server but DL & VK have individuals that are just as toxic as each other you cannot solely blame one or two persons for the demise of the usercount. I've personally taken a bit of a step back from soma atm due to the toxicity.
