"ZYZZ""DEAMOND"I think some of you guys need to realize that it's a game and soma is about the community, which is constantly being destroyed by grief pkers. Why would someone want to play a game whenever they attempt to hunt they can't ? Everything that is currently going on in the community isn't exactly motivating isylver to keep working on the server, after all why would he want to continue with people who ruin the community? Here lies the problem. Harassment is subjective. For instance a few days ago I was pmed with 'Gaylord' by someone I know pretty well. I've had this 'insult' thrown at me since I've been using this name, so it's more of a joke than anything else. However, I quickly replied with 'Harassment!', because it in fact, can be seen as harassment. The moment we create a set of rules they are set in stone, as such they need penalties. They will become debateble, people will find ways around it and before you know it we'll have our very own soma courtroom. At the very least each ban will take about an hour per person. At average I suspect about 15 suspects would have to be dealt with per week meaning about 15 hours a week for a GM. iSylver doesn't have the time for this and I wouldn't have the patience. We're not a court room. Instead you have a Gamemaster who reluctantly manages bans because he has to. All that needs to happen for you guys is to play nice. How do you do that? For some it's all about rules for other it's a gentleman's agreement. Exactly what I said to Style/Yoshi last week.. PKing is PKing, harassment needs to be dealt with but first GMs need to establish and post to what harassment is then deal with every single case without preference.[/quote]

I think all EQ should quit. Then in 2 weeks time, you will all see No_mercy griefing you because they don't have EQ to take the heat off you. Then you will be moaning again. Get real guys, they are Pkers, the only reason they aren't Pking you is because EQ are here.

Personally havent had a problem with pking on here,
But seeing some stuff on forum's lately if i get pk from someone who has multi's, uses a pilot or bot and then they big them self's up after. ill quite happily tell them "Fuck off you cant even level you own char"

A new Human Advisor would be a good idea :p, with no GM powers whatsoever who can just shout in blue when he's/she's on taking pm's. Which could help lighten the work load, people seem to think making threads moaning is going to help it doesn't it does the complete opposite.
