When to switch to axe from pure bow

For best gains, pure bow atm ... at what str would i need to swap to axe for str till 171 at blg?

151 str- 171 str with axe

From 131 - 151 you can use any weapon because your str gains are at x1.0 (mob dependant of course). From 151 171 rates are lower than 1.0 therefore anything other than axe is a waste of %. After 171 rates are fixed at 1.0 forever.
