Now that the GM's with the help of the volunteers have looked at some of the hsoma players concerns and have some tweaks planned to address them it's now time to give the same love and attention to dsoma.
To all dsoma players past and present, here is your thread to post your thoughts on what would make your dsoma time more enjoyable, don't hold back lay it all out in this thread so that we can address the concerns of the dsoma community after all there are 2 races in Soma and each deserves the same amount of love.

Number 1 priority - drops
Its horrendous at times, the so called drop range can make you go over a week with no decent drops 2 - tweak to the nega weapons, the wis requirement probly needs removing so that ppl dont feel like they have to nerf there char to equip The long slog till you actually have a decent nega weap, rare and even epic dmg is under the dmg of old teir intense weapons, this means devils are having to combine nega weaps in order to get a intense, and that's only the start as you then have to risk this 5 times at the anvil in order for it to be viable 3 - the demand for Ruby's, every single class needs Ruby's in some shame or form, ever for accucy or att on access to mages new proc (and mage mobs dont even drop Ruby's or much that other class's would need in order to trade for) The value on upgrades is on delight tabs or Ruby's, everything else dosnt compair and ppl wanting multiple of to trade, the problem being there all just as rare as each other(drop wise) 4 - weather some of the crafted recipys are broken, for example darian hoop and necrosis choker, I'm assuming someone found a recipy that worked at some point or other as it is listed down in all the craft sheets, but that 100% dosnt work current and any attempts at tweaking the recipy have failed as well

I need you to remove the magic zombie. I'm just a zombie pantyhose.
There are few judges in dsoma, but I can do two jobs in hsoma and use magic. You don't need to have a lot of magical powers. I only use zombie magic. |

Drops mainly. Not sure why invuln was never added to top tier mob. You can get omni from mess, Titus on hsoma From trolls, but you got to Farm mags for invuln? Makes no sense, and unless your an archer farming mags isn’t much fun. Also otm’s and agi ears would be nice to drop off something other than mags as well 👍

1) Drops - as everyone has said, it needs some serious thought. A complete overhaul imo needs a Dsoma veteran with the time to look at the journey from lvl 1-120 and suggest what mobs should drop what, upgrades, mats, armours, weps.
2) I haven't experienced it yet but mags need to be more accessible for range 1-2 (spear) classes, Maybe separate mags in too a mage variety and melee variety (this would force archers to fight them the same as everyone else, assuming the mage ones are too hard for them) 3) Not dsoma related but REALLY important is a forum moderator is absolutely needed, Isylver and finito haven't got the time to moderate.

1) Drops - lack of items in mid-high-end, forcing a split of mid-high-end drops across too many monsters. Some duplication of items but also some crazy low drop rates to try and hide that fact. Also drop rates are too favorable for certain mid items at things like AB.
Suspect maybe 30-50 items need adding. Even if some of them are 'smalls' like Frogs, Large 'human' Livers and they be precursor items for some upgrades like red devil pill etc. Create a monthly 'clue' from GM's / volunteer teams on recipes / clues for new craftable things. Need a new (maybe just adjusted weapon skin) tier of weapons, call it 'Blackened' 'Grimbow' etc in place of current level tier 2 , then move the current tier 2 up (requirements and drop files), followed by Nega tier at the end. Having level 50s almost on their final weapon tier is crazy. Needs a good 2 tiers adding. More mid-high tier accessories 'Lesser Devil Fiend' or whole new objects, again, push current 'good' accessory pieces up the chain with new drop files. 2) Then fix and adjust drop files after doing the above. Play through the game from level to 90 and figure it out. Should start seeing the benefit of things like rubys and content generally being there. 3) Need a leader figure NPC like Head of Town to start devils worlds narrative.

War beast miners drop small rubies don't they, I was referring to blg' dropping medium size and can't see any dsoma mob dropping that size apart from bosses.

Not only for devils..Its difficult for Asians to meet GM for taking donation items due to the time difference.
Sometimes it takes for few weeks, So We need to consider the other way to take them. |

Biggest problems that need addressing in d soma:
1. Drops. FAR too low in everything. Medium gems, omni, invul all need to drop from the end game leveling mobs. It is just completely ridiculous that only t18 mobs (of which there are barely any and the drop rate is v low, plus the whole of d soma competes for them) are the only mob other than mags that drop invul and mags are totally unmanageable except by archer and to a lesser extent mage. Switching out to bow in time to save yourself from whelps is simply not realistic, particularly when using a shield. Tabs, eggs etc all just need a massive boost in general also. 2. Points system/Dex issue The fact that Attk/Df is split into Str and Con whereas Dex remains Eva/Accu essentially doubles the points that dex classes have in dex over the other classes. This needs to be addressed by either revamping con to work the same way in h soma and combining str into attk and df or just doubling the points for the non-dex based classes that represent the loss in stats through this discrepancy. Also on a side note the order of wis allocation needs to be reversed so that axe has the highest to be the best tank and archer has the lowest to reflect its inherent advantage in stopping mage casting. 3. Range Some sort of range balancing auras need to be added to more classes at least in d soma. This is not such an issue in h soma since everybody can switch out to bow/magic at the drop of a hat. In d soma PvP is dead unless you are an archer or mage or happen to have an axe user with you. If this would be an issue for RvR then just make these auras specific to d soma maps the way that ctf auras are only applicable there. 4. Cross World Trading This is probably the most controversial one and may not be enforceable/may possibly rectify itself if the drops, UC, and economy were improved generally but as things stand it only serves to ruin the d soma economy even further than it already has been that people tend to trade their items d soma for h soma. I think that trades should be kept in world unless there is a drastic uptick in the economy based on the implementation of point number one above.

Drops seem to be the biggest issue here...
is the drops rare or just not enough variety?? what monsters are missing items? is there low/high end mobs that should be dropping a tier of weapons or armours and dont? |

the full levelling route, for a new player trying to get weapons is impossible without a higher level suppling them
for higher levels, its more being able to target a drop, like rubys for example, the only thing that drops them is wbm, and that's small ruby and you can go a full week with no rubys what so ever tark knights drop ruby also, but there drop file is so bloated that you almost never get a ruby from them as for mages that also need ruby for there proc upgrade, nothing a mage hunts drops
