"RAVENSOUL"The last hit winner takes all might have suited the game in 2000 but it’s definitely not in the spirit of what soma is all about. Soma is and always will be about the community, the community is what makes soma the great game it is and always will be, so to have a system that only rewards the last hit goes against everything soma stands for imho. All well said however to implement this you would a community that was willing and at the moment and for a long time there has been no community spirit. Sadly this is what is and has been missing for a long time on this server . Hope you are well Fred theres been alot of rain recently 🤣❤

We need a system that rewards every single player that turns up at a boss, we need a system that rewards team work, race work, a system that rewards it’s community spirit.
If the system continues as it is, it creates more damage than good due to the same players getting the rewards regardless of how many turn up to defeat the bosses, and the end result is that more players come to same conclusion, what’s the point. We want and need a system that encourages groups/ races to participate in numbers, this will help grow the great community spirit 10 fold which can only be for the better of soma.[/quote]

This. Most of the time I don't even attend boss fights, be it Christmas event or otherwise. Simply for the fact that I have almost zero chance of actually gaining from it. Whereas if there was some kind of hit counter, quest or other method of rewarding people for actually turning up and helping to kill the boss - as opposed to just getting the final hit - I would attend every boss fight that I was able to.

I’m good thanks Ginger ;) sadly though never see any rain in dsoma :( I still hold on to hope for this community and I never will give up on it, I keep seeing small signs that it’s moving in the right direction but it needs the players to keep striving for the better of others. Most players do there bit without realising by crafting free for newer players or gifting items to the newer players, small things like that create the community which can only be for the best for soma.
