Another year same old issues or lack off......
Communication. Not everyone is on Facebook. Not everyone is on discord. Not everyone uses the soma wiki. Decide which platform your going to use to inform the community of any future tweaks, additions etc. Personally the newsfeed on the website was/is the main point for the players to read any news regarding soma. Surely it doesn’t take that much of anyone’s time up to post on there with news of soma???

The website and forums is the first port of call for people to check out when there looking for a game to try out.
People do check the news feed to see how often there’s news on fixes, additional content etc and shows if it has active people running the game itself, they also check the forums to see how/what the community is like. At present there’s virtually little communication and people wonder why rumours begin about soma.

...the sharp clang of a spade on something dense and heavy.
A glint of gold flashes through the crumbling soil that spills off of the edge of the over-full spade. Everything stops. Total silence pervades. After a long pause, the lone digger finally releases the breath he has held for far too long in a single, sharp, gasp. He leans down and, with a trembling hand, brushes away the soil from the top of object he is digging out. His hand feels tentatively out towards it. It is ice cold but seems to tremble and vibrate as if a living thing beneath the tips of his fingers as he strokes it gently, lovingly. A warm surge of joy flows through his body as he realises that he has actually found it after all this long time of searching and of waiting! HE HAS FOUND IT!! Pacheon’s magical anvil! He picks up his dropped spade and carefully, begins to dig once more to free his fabled discovery – the one so many doubters had said did not exist. Get it out of the ground. Get it cleaned up. Get it back to Town. … Just a few more days and the doubters would be silenced for ever!

Surely if it's a mythical anvil you would take more care with it than digging into it and hitting it with a spade would of thought more trowels and brushes lol
Also ha all you doubters need to shh although a few days irl is like how many soma days and #unforseenerrors maybe a factor.
