Sorry to go off topic a tad, but i get it a lot when if i click too suddenly the game will crash or when casting a spell just to start freezing, got an i5, gtx 760 2gb, 12gb ram, windows 7 64bit, tried using compatibility mode too but doesn't seem to help, tried all sorts of resolutions and seems to keep happening.
p.s mine is 6.1.7601.18275

"HARLEY"6.3.9600.16384 Theres no patch for that version. Need to update windows or I need to see if I can look at that version of the file and make a patch for it. "DEAMOND"p.s mine is 6.1.7601.18275 There is currently no patch for that version either.

Im using the samsung F9000 55", i found best disabling SLI if you use it and lock to run as admin and lowest color settings (tends to run better if you scale your resolution down just while playing soma) if all else fails run in window mode bro

Also you can change the resolution in the .ini file for soma, seems to affect window mode and full screen and can run smoother with larger viewing (game doesn't update as far as the view though)

I reformatted yesterday and it's just installed loads of updates so I'm guessing I have the newer version now I will post version when I get to pc
