Ok, so I rejoined the world of soma yesterday and had a good 4-5 hours planned to grind out what I can..
After about 10-15 mins smacking bugs my client just, well.. stopped!! All mobs and character animation came to a halt but my character was still free to gracefully roam the lands for a couple minutes until the client closed completely!! It does this consistently, however sometimes I can go for about half hour !!! Woohooo... I am using a recently formatted laptop so there is no clutter taking up disk space, the laptop has a 1TB memory and runs a what I believe to be more than adequate processor.. The laptop is a few years old however it should have no problems running a game like soma!! Any ideas for a fix as this has already ruined my return and will bring it to a stop completely if this continues which is sad =( Thanks in advance guys. X

Hi,
Are you running in windowed/fullscreen mode? Are you using multiple clients? Which version of windows are you using? |

I enabled UAC
Disabled QoS on nighthawk router Installed latest .NET framework Seems to have fixed it |

"RAZOR"Hi, I am running in window mode with a modified resoloution of 1280x720 which I believe to be a stable res. I am not running multiple clients when the issue happens however with multiple screens loaded it's even worse as expected. Windows 10

i had an issue like this i couldnt go 20 mins without clients crashing...
Until one hero told me to change the compatability in properties to windows 95 and ever since ive had 0 dcs so try that. |

Yeah for Somawindow.exe change the compatibility as above

Ah okay I was always using windows xp service pack 2.. I'll try windows 95 and if it still doesnt work I'll try as DOUAVACADO said.
