Windows mode crashes

WORF	I'm trying to log in on windowed mode ive changed to settings to run in Reduced colour mode (8bit) and the game crashes when I try to run it, if I leave it in high colour mode the game runs but with all the colours messed up, anyone got an idea of whats up.
