Never really had problems with game before until the past week. Tried playing few days ago, dc death twice within first 10 minutes, said screw it and logged. Tried playing again today, dc 5 times in 6~7 minutes. Haven't changed any settings. Try again tomorrow; if same, just come back in a month or two.
No problem streaming movies, so not my internet connection.
Just smoked a bowl too, total buzzkill

Same problem for me as well. Especially today.

Check your not getting lag spikes
Windows + R
type "cmd"
type "ping 8.8.8.8 -t"
Watch the numbers, they should be a steady 10-100 for a decent connection, ideally around 15.
If they jump up at times to 200-300 or the request times out, you know its lag spikes, common with virgin media's shitty routers and other ISP supplied ones.

Also check you’re using a resolution that’s good.

He's saying dc, i'm assuming disconnection as opposed to crashing, need clarification though.

Try change to windows 95 or 98 tiefer right click the soma shortcut u have n go to properties

I get this but can open wh but everything is all over the place

I had this issue quite a lot previously, tbh it’s one of the main reasons I quit.

it seems to happen more frequently on windows 10. i installed win 7 to a 2nd hard drive and rarely happens.

try changing compat mode as suggested above.

its like the client stops being able to read incoming packets. seeing as every1 else can still see u move/type etc

I was also running windows 10 and it happened a fair bit, so you could be onto something there.

Compatibility makes no difference. I tried that last week and it still happened.

Seems to happen in waves, so it'll be fine most the day then happen 3-4 times in an hour.

10, but I assume most are. The randomness and frequency just makes me think it's something to do with Virgin media and the servers it uses to connect to the game tbh.
