I no there have been a few tweaks on the way up the mob line recently but ...
Would there be a way we could have a look at the higher tier mobs I no it's time consuming and I'd willingly contribute my time towards if needed. But i don't get some of the drops Vs mobs I mean like wasps - 200-230 int dropping shiro and gtr ? Really Mags dropping bone. Y not bitter Elders dropping bitter. y when they drop Titus There would be other mobs aswell. I no up to blg got a nice look to with stingers ect Just a little look at so some have a better chance and minimises there drop files abit. Thanks Don --- reposted in ideas section ---

Mobs should drop items that suit their stat range and not drop useless items like row rof guard amulets anti devil necklaces and staff of sky etc on mobs like horde shanis and df... I'm sorry but who uses a staff of sky to level with at those mobs...
Drop rehaul on alot of mobs needed.. I'm sure the community team already redid drop files but I heard that the idea was rejected.......

If it was the time consuming then I would willingly put abit of an effort in to do lists for each mob and put what I feel n get ppls input towards the file.
But it would depend on if it's more time consuming to re-apply the drops to the mob itself [/quote]

So instead of Bitter Bone and Golden Thunder Rods dropping, you'd rather have nothing drop at all since each item has it's own chance to roll? Is this what you're really complaining about?

Kind of ... If u have say 20 items in a drop file sure if u narrow it to say 15 u would have a slightly higher % chance of the rest instead of having a % including untag/hard / rare gtr in the mix of the % at the same time.
Would have been the same with blg adding the stingers. You wouldn't want blood bows to still be in that mix when u no full well u can get a stinger.. and being 2 tiers lower. Or going to trolls and them having apus dropping most the time

I don't think it's about removing items. The odd one sure. But really just tweak a few of the endgame mobs or mobs you spend a significant amount of time on to drop a few more relevant items.

Only saying this post to try n help out n that. I've just done 1k Merc wasps and wronte down every drop I had for an example and 200 into vod wasps for a rough idea but if u look at the drop file for wasps I haven't had 1 tab or vial that's most of the drop file as no armour in it when I finish wasps I'll load the results. I no it's "rng " but there's "rng " n crap :P
Thought being a helpful ish type of post would benefit all and if GM / council need a hand they could get it. Everyone enjoys some and most of us don't mind the grind but everyone now's it gets abit teadious when drops are far from gd % odds.

The fact that specific item drops does not make it any more or less likely that another item will drop; so removing GTR from wasps would make absolutely no difference to anything else other than you'd see no GTR's dropping. If your asking to remove trash drops and slightly bump up the %'s for the better items - I'd agree with that - but just removing trash items does nothing on its own.
