Hi everyone,

I'm currently at WBM, and I was just wondering what level / Str to leave and hunt something else? And what would I move onto please? I've looked at a few bits and pieces on the forum but can't find anything for after WBM.

I'm an archer if that helps, sitting roughly around the 170 Str mark. I've been at WBM for the last 10 levels, so was just wondering when would be the right time for a change of scenery (and drops lol).

Another note, I'm starting to get near thinking about upgrading my gear (all hail the +2 100% change), I'm just wondering what the general consensus is for gear. Obviously speed for bow, but when it comes to armor do you think I'd be better off going for +Dex set or proc set from red PoD? Is there a "better" of the two, or is it a personal preference kind of thing? I'm pretty much an exclusively PvE player, if that makes a difference.

can stay wbm till 215str
Demented Warthog with 200 str so can stay here till 230 str
Crimson Apai with 231 str so can stay here till 261 str
tarkilhi knight with 275 str, so can stay here till 305 str
Devil Deity with 300 str so can stay here till 330 str

as a archer u will cap with 230ish str, you don't have to cap the mobs str to move on, feel free to do that at any time and see what the new mobs like to hunt

if your thinking only for pve then red pod all the way with attack acess, for boss mobs u could do with some dex stuff to get last hits

wbm cap at 216

for the fastest % go crimson seeing as your archer

you can cap on apai no worries or tark/DD

I'll hang around WBM for a little while yet then. The % speed is still decent and I suppose the occasional small ruby drop is nice enough.

I might try Warthogs after, see how that goes. Apai look pretty scary haha

Nice amount of wep drops they cap at 191
I think they'd be faster % till that point but no ruby drops buddy.

And apai drop red pods, so ul wana jump on these asap to get as many as u can

Yea, as pve primarily an archer should never need dex + items
Apai are better than hogs imo, they dont surround you as much for the dura rape, hogs would win out if you're a class with a multi hit aura but you aren't so it's a moot point ;p

I could be wrong if it's been changed but I dont believe apai and upwards are capped on their str?

I'm going to try some Apai today then and see how it goes, should be able to gauge if it would be effective for me to start hunting them, or whether or not I need to do a few more levels somewhere else first.

I've a feeling they're going to hurt a bit too much to make it effective to start there. The allure of potential red PoD drops is super appealing, but my gear is the absolute basic so I feel like I'm going to have to chew through pots too quickly, might have to hang on a bit lol

Capping at KL, oh man... I was SO ready to leave there, went to WBM as soon as I was able to hunt 'em haha

Just make sure you keep cashing in on your daily quests so you can respec and play about with your stats :)

Oh, I'd not even considered stat distribution. I've literally just been maxing STR/DEX/CON and throwing any leftover points into WIS.

Would I change things up when maybe hunting INT mobs or something?

No not always, but if you're pure pve you might want extra wis at end game to reduce damage from magma elders especially
And if you collect dailies as you level you will have plenty of Mark's to play about with until you find what's right for you, I think its 6 daily Mark's per respec

There is a low level quest that gives a respec scroll as a reward just in case you may need early on.
