Does anyone know how many stats are actually lost by someone who goes for say pure nuk compared to pure bow because of the quicker bonus losses?
Is it actually that noticeable at cap |

It's difficult to say as most characters who have done bow will have quite a bit more dex than those who have done knuck but the knuck users tend to have more int.
The closest comparison I'm aware of is a pure bow / axe character with 210 str / 180 dex at cap, all done the +50 route and all int healed. Compared to that, there is a pure knuck char with 208 str / 175 dex, all int healed however this char did knuck from 151-171 str and wasn't all done the +50 route which is not optimal for overall stats due to the 0.5x stat multiplier between 156-171str. What may be important is that the pure knuckle character probably capped in 2/3 the time of the bow/axe char, if not faster.

aye, 209 str 175 dex compared to 210 180 and that was without the +50 str route. i also didnt do any axe 151-171
and time taken to get to cap if you can get a few good hh/pan is like 3-4 weeks compared to many months with bows |

That's good to know, thanks for the info =)
Still undecided but not sure I can warrant the extra weeks/months of bow and pure 50 route for not a massive difference in stats, or is that gap classed as a lot? |

"R3VERB"That's good to know, thanks for the info =) 1 str and 5 dex can easily be compensated for with gear, especially with the +2 tablets that are around now. the amount of time that people waste going pure bow for that minor gap is crazy, but it is the extent that some people go to, to be the best. hopefully in due time, when new cap raises come around, the gap will get smaller and smaller :)
