this isn't a poblem only to int mobs, war beast miner are the shittest mob to hunt for drops conti ones i've seen 2 untag weapons drop in god knows how many 100s of hours. and hwan ones they only drop swifthands one every few hunts and stupid stuff like close helms devil helms and supreme;p

Didn't realise is was quite that bad if I'm honest path lol would agree that's quite bad. And to which ever little sweaty kid is on skellen man up and don't try and change every post in the discussion hall to a eq hate thread. My point above tho was more looking at the files of top str mobs in hsomas files then looking at the 400 med jade's I have from nightmares even a herb drop added would make them better compared to say blg. But as above was not aware of how bad drain druid were so my bad

The question is: is it the drop file that needs changing or the drop rate, you look at the file it looks perfect for mages but the rate seems very low. Also making the rate higher eliminates the need to farm boss mobs if its dropping the items you want.
Adding new items such as abyss accessories would again eliminate need for new bosses. Its the same for war beast miners, once you've got a swift hand...you've got one. Close helms and diab hats dont make any sense and adding top end weapons further eliminates the need for bosses to be hunted. Drops to wbms and drazil druids need to be thought out carefully, however I do again DD are highly lacking especially when compared to nightmares.

Well, introduction of the new bosses made the accessories craft skill redundant which took far more development time than introducing a new monster (for example).
Drop rates across the board on Dsoma are horrendous. I think in the 10 or so levels I hunted Drazil Druids I only ever had one epic item which was a male diabolist hat. The staves are like gold dust, tempered metal which is used for the 118int access are so rare, to have enough mats to make the earring (which is only a tiny bit better than the abyss earring) takes at least a couple of levels worth of hunting for 1 craft attempt. Barr drops can be high (up to 900), but the frequency of them dropping and the barr-range is real poor. Dsoma's economy will never pick up without a supply of items in circulation, this is even the basis of our real economy outside of the game - if people have nothing to trade, no trade will take place and as items are so god damn rare, that's exactly what happens. I've a sword or two to trade, but nobody that needs a sword, has what I want. Same applies to so many others and until that's rectified, Dsoma's economy will forever be stagnant. What i'm saying is that yes, DD are in a shit state for drops, but the problem is Dsoma-wide, not just for that one mob.

I've recently started dsoma and can only echo what s0rc said, the economy is terrible and I've been fortunate that the community has been so helpful in regards to items however will probably quit if I have to spend the evening crafting on my nub human to afford pots to continue on at drazil druids. In a day at conti nightmare, the mob that humans fight for the map, same for us with drazil druids, you can make 200-300k a day with drops let alone frog values.
