"XZELPHER"It shouldn't be unlimited but there needs to be more choices Probably the most sound idea - stocking like 6k of them each though imo; along with just probably either doubling the current stock like crazy said. trying to get mats currently before level 100 & 30 con is futile for the most part. I spent 3 days getting mats, sometimes at full restock times I'd get 1 run of 500ish copper/orc metal, by the time id dropped at stash all the mats had gone. at 50 skill this got me about 0.2/0.3 skill. I think it took me about 6 hours of just strictly mat running to get about 5 skill that day. not feasible at all currently.

"XZELPHER"It shouldn't be unlimited but there needs to be more choices I like this, maybe increase drops in farm as well? If you get the random restock timers down you will have more mats than you can ever craft with.

Dont agree that mats should be umlimited, but def would like to see somthing done to increase the amount of mats
Personally id like a weekly rvr event, where a npc could set off from conti castle to races portal, depending on who owns conti weather your defending the npc or attacking the npc, it the npc makes it then the owners of conti get double mat restocks for a week, if the npc dies then the race that dosnt own conti get double mats for a week (this would also boost the need for conti

id written about this after a few debacles at Pold, but i put it under the crafting page:
https://myth-of-soma.com/Forum/Thread.asp?ID=36700&title=Abias+and+restocks+%2D+levelling+the+playing+field&Page=1 case-in-point - spend a few moments in abias around T0, and watch the camping queues of crafters anxiously anticipating the restock hour. i kid you not, one time i was there when the clock struck T1, and no sooner had that happened, i did not even see an amount appear on the counter for copper, it just stayed at 0, this elicited an exclamation of "LOL" from everyone awaiting, and a grin from the two persons with a combined bagweight equal to the copper restock. this negatively affects up-&-coming crafters, with limited bag-weight. and given the quarantine (stay safe, stay at home) and the slow down of the rl economy, people are on at every conceivable hour. Also, the excuse of, people who did it earlier would be upset should not fly; people who had to look through encyclopaedias are now upset that the world evolved and we have wikipedia. the random restocks are not so random, so at any given point in time, someone is camping at the NPCs to get first dibs on the wares. I had a bunch of suggestions as to how to equal the playing field, by treating the items same as TP in the USA and limiting the amount people can buy at once, to give everyone a chance - it would make the playing field level. for example, you get to buy only 500 a time, so everyone ends up running back and forth, and those with 1K bagweight dont get an advantage over those who are still starting. the other option would be to truly randomize the restock hours, to discourage campers. option 3, and i lean heavily towards this, is to increase the drop count at the farm, from 1, 2, 3 to 10, 20, 30 or even more, so that people unwilling to wait at the NPC can atleast get their hands on a sizeable quantity. option 4, sell it for donations. rested XP is sold, and that is used to level up in game. so with that same mentality, why not add mats on the donations? what exactly are you working toward? SR? does it give you an advantage in game? no. thoughts?

"FOXTRCK""STORE9000""XZELPHER"It shouldn't be unlimited but there needs to be more choices thats the issue, everyone has worked the timers out, SR is a compulsory part of the game but its the hardest to achieve on events like this as everyone tries to get and you can only grab a limited numbers of mats as there is a queue at all the vendors. Why not have 12 restocks in a soma day then.

"XZELPHER"It shouldn't be unlimited but there needs to be more choices Adding more mat types would help greatly especially accessory crafters a chance to get iron or copper since these are the only 2 types they can skill craft with. I would also like to see another type of horn and liver for potion crafters to be able to use for skilling. During these unprecedented times and the sheer increase in the user count which is great to see, how about making mats restock at time 1 amounts every hour and keep the shops open from time 22-1?

Don't know if it would be possible but
Leave restocks as it is with the materials at the current price. Add vendor that sells all the Abias mats at the furthest point in town from warehouse/GM with unlimited stock of mats but 5 - 10 X the price APC. This would hopefully encourage higher level players to use the new NPC rather than standing around waiting, create a Barr sink and hopefully allow newer players to have the regular option still available to them like we've all had. Yep you'll still get the few high level players camping the original NPC but as time goes on I'd assume they'd value their time/progress more than saving some Barr.

"ARYA_" You can blame bow for SR's being so necessary and we know why everyone uses bow... one sided training advantage for stats over any weapon type and its PVP value. Granted everyone has armor and other weapons but their SR need rate is far far lower. I know people may say that its the dura loss on misses but changing that is only making bow more useful and masking the underlying mess of bow being OP.
