Just a question about windows 8, which no doubt someone will know but im not very good with windows 8.
When i download an application or a file and try to open it, it asks me what application i want to open it with? E.g Notepad Paint But on my old laptop and other computers it automatically finds the application for it to run and install, anyone know the problem?

Never had that problem mate download it again save the file to desktop and try it that way

Depends what file you're trying to open. Files like torrents aren't defaultly recognised by windows and require a client such as utorrent to open them.
If you post the file type (I.e: .tor .mkv .nsf) ect. Im sure someone will enlighten you on the correct way to open it. Hope this helps
