Anvil Woes

Just before the event hit, i finally made it to150 armour skill. I was really keen finally to get some upgrades done. Super psyched!
Then this happened..  All R.I.P. 10/10, would press upgrade again. Didnt even get one +5! i bought the +5 pan then subsequently murdered it with a SS lol. This is defintley not all of the stuff, i know there was a legendary mauler and a few more intense stingers etc and a few other bits i forgot to screenshot. This is definitley not a complaint post, just a bit of comic releif for you sadists out there! I certainly had my head in my hands quite a few times throughout that batch - So come on, make me feel better, share some of your recent anvil woes ;)

Firstly congratulations on the recent 150 craft skill :)
Some decent weapons in that list, sorry to hear nothing made it out alive :( My last trip to anvil returned me 50% of my weapons if it helps giving hope 3 epic py x bows 3 epic stingers a few minutes later 1 epic py x bow and 2 epic stingers at +5 other 3 r.i.p.

Don't worry at all I'm sure the next 10 you put it will create one or two.
Remember that all of those weapons you put in would have bought a fantastic weapon so that's another way to go. Personally I love upgrading though. I crafted this for someone last night and it snapped on +3 upg. was gutted for him and I have 170+ weaps atm. https://ibb.co/MPTxmsc

I have about the same i guess but with SS's.
yesterday had my 5th rip going to +6 or one +7 (which i bought +6) cost: 3 failed SS = 30 sd 5 weapons getting to +5 = 50sd AT LEAST 5 actual SS's = 50sd thats at least 130 sd's in 1 month or so... (+ 30 other weps failing to +5 so thats another 60 sd's) and now i end up with... nothing more then a month ago, that just sux, playing a lot each day hoping to finally once make a +6 550ish rec bow :( but nope, its clearly not for me... (very frustrating when you see all those +8's each day being made like nothing...) Feel like quitting actually... this is like going to work and getting no paycheck in the end... :/

Diamonds have flooded the market recently due to chars being able to bot continuously for weeks on end at DF / palus.
We should soon see a decline in the number of diamonds being thrown about aimlessly. |

The amount of SD's used in making his Swift Sprits was 72 sd. He also didnt find all of those SD's, the vast majority would've been traded for. Now 72sd / 8 LD Seems alot but if you play consistently, focusing efforts entirley on aquiring a single item and probably most importantly; resist the temptation to blow your wad as soon as you have enough for an attempt; you'd be suprised by how quickly it builds. Remember, this event is only double drop chance. All these people living at palus / fish and getting 40 sd's drop over the course of the event would have gotten 20sd anyways. Devils will always suffer from an availablity standpoint due to a generally lower usercount. Could they do with a drop buff to account for this disparity? most likley. Does that mean that hsoma is spewing amazing drops all over the place for everyone at all times? certainly not for me, and if they did, just look at the first post in the thread to see what happens ^^

Don’t need ss to make insane weps +1 to +5 On human
1-5 toe it 5-8 ss it Is normal unless you got intense Nega wep that’s when people ss all the way |
