Without PvP I've never understood why you play soma?...
Can barely suffer logging on without it.




I never understood why people played soma only because of its PvP system. It's rubbish. You simply imitate your days in the school playground and receive nothing in return, except that childish glee that you got...in the school playground.

Gaining that PointOne is brain damage but ultimately if you don't gain it for PvP then what is the point in becoming stronger at all?
Soma is at it's most fun when you are PvPing at the ol' VoD entrance.

And I couldn't wear a nm hat in the school playground without people laughing at me. Here it is accepted.

For me it was always about getting to the next strongest monster/area and the drops that come as a result of it. Essentially, I enjoyed the discovery aspect of the game; discovering new things about the maps/monsters and items etc. PvP never did anything for me and it still doesn't.

Hunting to facilitate further hunting just seems a bit tedious to me. Outwith the new additions from the SomaDev team - there's not much to discover either.
The game to me has always been a PvP orientated game. Pking doesn't mean you necessarily dislike the person - it's just something to do to break up the monotony.
