So I've been noting all my stats for the past 15ish levels, and naturally, watched the ebbs and flows of the stat gains. The past three levels I've noticed something very peculiar, that has seriously reduced my will to level in regards to stat gains and DEX...
Of the last 3 levels, the first level was a punch level, followed by pocket-healing at WBM for two levels. Upon completing my punch level at EB(was my 2nd or 3rd punch lvl in a row, can't remember exactly), I got .6 dex, which I found COMPLETELY ABSURD seeing as I punched the entire level. So I figured it had to do with over a certain number, it would = half my strength gains, which I have been told is what happens. I got about 1.3 str that level, so it made sense at the time. Moving onto my WBM levels, I finished the first one only to see a yellow dex increase, but AGAIN, it was .6 dex increase. This really baffled me, as I gained over 3 str against WBM, so theoretically I should have gained about 1.5 dex, if not 1.0 at the least, being 1/3 of my str gain. The most recent level also netted me a .6 dex gain, although even MORE str(3.5+). So my question is, what is so functionally broken about axers that whether punch or axe, they will gain blue dex for a certain period? This may have to do with such horrible ending dex stats...

Eh u used axe at wbm tho?, would only be half ur str if u punched wbm Its all about the level slowdowns, u wont start seeing 1.5+ dex gains punching till lvls past 75, i can assure u, punching at higher lvls on wbm will net u 2.5~ dex(talking lvl 85~) aslong as ur still below 185 str
I punched EB at around lvl 78 as my last lvl there and gained 3.3 str 1.6 or 1.7 dex, levels make a huge difference once u get there, its all about punching before hitting most of the slowdowns on each mob, which is why its such a lengthy process for anyone but archers/knux and possibly sword as i find punching dex to be around the same as sword Punch war beast miner before 140 str, and u will net some huge gains aslong as ur lvl is also high, this is the best time as 140 str is when i noticed the first slowdown, which was about 20% less in every stat

Ty for that info Monster, good to know to punch wbm before 140 str, I'll have to give that a go in the near future(aka before I hit 140 str :p) ty for the info on dex gains, my middle level was about 30% eb punch 70% wbm, so that is what threw me off the most that I could do three different styles of leveling completely and end up the same dex, lol musta just been circumstances.

Wbm are about 30% better than EB stats so the higher lvl u get the more difference u will see, for instance at lvl 70 EB could be 2.0 str, wbm 2.6 but at lvl 80 EB would be 3.5 str wbm 4.6, its all about the last lvls of dsoma, 1-75 ish is only the start where it doesnt matter too much, 75-100 is where it really starts to matter what u hunt
