I'd like to know.
Seen a lot of people have been banned for hunting AFK over the last 24 hours. I've also seen that more and more people message me while I am hunting. (presumably to check if I am afk or not). But what exactly is it, and how are we defining the perimeters of it? This is more aimed at the games masters and advisers but I guess I'd just like to know and I know a couple of my friends do as well.

if you are hunting and you do not reply within 20 seconds you get banned

AFK = Away from Keyboard, so basically your char is playing while your away from your keyboard or PC? whos operating? Bill Gates? lol

AFK is simple really.
If myself or any other member of the team appears next to you and asks for a response. You respond. If we then see you switch from various monsters, run to attack others, run to restock during this time it's self explanitory what happens next. We had a range of excuses yesterday such as "I wasn't afk I was cleaning my fish tank" . P.S. If you use bots/macros and afk with them: What I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my palus go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

Slightly off topic but anyone afk hunting / botting / whatever could / should receive a very large amount of penalty exp (couple levels atleast.)

Rofl Garp was caught via screenshare asking penumbra questions on how to use the bot, not sure you want to suggest this. Anyways - glad to see it's being actioned and the weeks are incoming to players that abuse bots etc. afk.

Anyone who has a bot is always gona go afk too much temptation, there no point botting other wise. People don't sit there making a bot to just watch it.
Think ill paint my lounge tonight and watch it dry!!! |

Never used, bought or inquired about using a bot, even if i did I wouldnt be stupid enough to have it traceable back to me. Clearly just lies or a fanboy posing as me.
If you or anyone else have the smallest shred of evidence i openly welcome them to post it here, i'd love for everyone to see it. 100% legit player and proud to be so. Bring back name & shame.

I think naming/shaming should happen to be honest. Although to be fair, OP has a point. iSylver appeared in front of me while i was dual boxing, i was browsing facebook as he appeared and could of easily missed him :P
