Wrong, I was banned the other day because I have laptop beside me and tank and heal on main and con on noob. I sit and hold the heal button and watch TV or movie with mrs. I never received a pm etc and when I explained I was all I got as a reply from ghost was "you were afk".
I did not change character or run etc. I switch my vision from tv to game but am always in control of character with mouse. Seems there is no room for an explanation. I donate a decent amount of money so why the hell would I risk being banned and loosing everything I worked for. I have been booted loads of times doing con and every time I log straight back on. So if i was afk how could i do this? I also pm GM's as soon as I was suspended so I have given proof of what I say is correct but that's not enough and seems once a decision is made that it's final and won't be over turned.

the mobs were designed to be clicked once and left. whether you walk away to make a brew while using a second char with click lock etc AS DEFINED by GM. aslong as your characters dont perform any other action once the mob has died then i dont see why you would be banned. the GM designed the monster this way.

You would think that excite but it has literally got to the point where if you are alt tabbed out on youtube whilst punching bugs you are afk and bannable the bans as of lately have been some medieval stuff lol, you literally can't hunt mobs without getting a ban these days, it doesn't help with the constant filming of stuff either imo. for example with the ramp blocking, you don't wan't people to block the ramp? cool make the ramp bigger... lol. People have lost the ability to ignore noobs spamming you while crafting also as (makes you afk) Punching Elfs while afk (using soma's built in auto attack) was allowed at Christmas. I was banned once for botting, I've subsequently had multiple chars banned at various times for some exceptionally poor 'evidence' members of coven repeatedly handed in. It helps that they have ghostlord on Skype and I've actually got some photo's of Skype conversations I got sent where Ian discusses people's bans personally with coven members. It's a joke. Ian does a good job as he's up against the wall with retards pestering him on Skype and face book all day with stuff, just wish when things do occur that it can be properly discussed instead of the 'I banned u that's the end of it come back in 30 days' Yes there is botting , yes most of the server capped or benefitted from botting at some point, but at the moment it's gone crazy that you can't even ask for the evidence to be shown to you or even at least talk it through like adults as sometimes people chose to behave a certain way because a) they've had noobs spamming them all day b) had retards trying to PK them already 20 times that day. I've said to ghostlord multiple times that evidence is ridiculously easy to 'stage' you just have to piss someone off enough before you start rolling the video clip. Hey ho my chars are capped now and coven have bottled it as they couldn't win gvw anymore so not much more left for me in the game except gvw and PK. If it was a professional outfit not a free to play game I guess we could get more pissed but it's not. Companies like blizzard don't offer second chances but they don't rely on stupid ass morons handing in tiny fraps clips to perma rip an account. Oh well.

ALOT of players stopped coming on due to bans being handed out un-evenly. supposed evidence which unless physically witnessed by a gm could come from ANY server. baring in mind this is a private server, so if ratley_cole can set up a server then pretty sure the more vindictive people could *stage* video's on there own servers.
The way it is now isnt working. people should report suspicions to a GM. and then the GM should investigate. not just throw out a ban and then give zero indication about why. The gm should be professional and speak with *x* player in-game AFTER physically seeing *y* offence occur and say look i saw *x* player do *y* offence at this time as such you get a ban of *z* time period. The whole people recording other people has led to the toxic way that people are playing now. player A slags player B then reports player B for retaliating since he has video of player B following / killing him etc
