"ROCKS"I think if ppl are caught botting once the character should be perminantly deleted (is it like this already or just a short ban?) the thought of ppl botting personally puts me of soma and kinda makes me not wanna play anymore when I have worked so hard to lvl up mine yano, and I think if it was perminant ppl would think twice about doing it,should just delete anyone whos been caught botting now even from the past haha and I also think this is a good thing nice one gm's :D The thing is, they visually 'observe' or see clips of people being AFK/botting/whatever you want to call it (could even be another server like people suggested, it takes no time to set one up - all the files are out there). My char was banned for I don't know how long (as they never reply to PM's, don't email correspondence, or even give an explanation as to how they made that decision etc - which is piss poor, and far from the professionalism you'd expect from game masters who want a game to succeed even remotely) all I can think of, is standing in town at stash. I was logged into my other account hunting at the same time, funnily enough talking to Ghostlord at the same time; which hasn't been banned. Really strange. So standing at stash in town I now assume is classed as 'botting' or being AFK and is bannable? there is a very broad and undefined line here, set by the server admins themselves and i'm sorry but the GM's have absolutely no clue and make mostly horrible decisions based on what they personally think they see, whilst actively looking for problems/bots/cheats. This thought process and approach will automatically scrutinize legit players if they make say, a similar running pattern etc. You either ban everyone or don't ban anyone if the tools at your disposal for doing so is nothing but poor eyesight, judgement & a sheer lack of understanding.

I've spoken to several people since who have been banned for standing at the mats vendor waiting for re-stocks etc. I'm led to believe these are legit players. Still no response to multiple PM's, I've also got people to message Ghostlord I think it is on skype and he's ignoring them (I've been told this is nothing out of the ordinary). So I guess it's waiting for the ban to be lifted, which is I don't know how long this will be as it's my first 'ban'. I would like to know what I did wrong though so I don't make the same mistake and perhaps pass this over to others so they don't get banned either as the GM's seem ot offer no explanation to practically everyone they ban I'm led to assume.

I can tell you people who use that too, on dsoma and hsoma - I won't mention any names at this point though, I don't want to drop anyone in it, and I'm not an admin; it's none of my business either what others do. Basically everyone at EB in hwan as we speak are running bot's. I only play to pass time at work on wake & watches, so I've no reason to use bots as that would be counter to the reason I play in the first place. I also don't know anyone so I wouldn't know where to get one from. People who bot don't bother me though, soma is a game where you have fun playing/leveling up, not capping and farming - imo, so it makes no sense to me. Just live and let live. I could take it or leave it, I'll just play another game if this is how players are treated. Which is a shame as that's not how a community should work.

I'm not happy, nor did I insinuate things like this, it just doesn't help, I don't know many people on this server, I keep myself to myself and help out when and where I can. I am against botters if there are things that could be done, but lets face it - it's not working and has effects on legit players from time to time. Your latter part of your retort made no sense and is obviously a gross overreaction to a simple opinion.

You've misunderstood me completely. I'm not happy, nor did I insinuate things like this, it just doesn't help, I don't know many people on this server, I keep myself to myself and help out when and where I can. We will not reveal any tricks or tools that helps us catch botters for the simple reason we don't want them to fix it.
I reply to PM's when I can, in my time. Spamming does not help or hasten your situation. It does quite the opposite. That being said, I've already replied to your first PM as that's one of the first things I do when logging on here. I'll happily answer your pm's about your ban. Just be patient and realise this isn't the only thing planned in my day.

People think that everyone is botting just because you don't answer them. Unless it's a GM you don't have to answer to shit. But if you don't respond to them, you face a massive risk of being banned even if you are a legit player because someone sends in "evidence". Sandokan and Wake are just two examples of a current system that obviously isn't working as legitimate players are being banned for seemingly no reason. It all comes down to people just wanting others banned, instead of wanting others banned just crack on and play the game instead of crying all the time.
