How about doing the tome quest, maybe even add an extra tome for dungeon 1 as well
That is a guaranteed upgrade success (non tradeable ticket) that when used would then also make the weapon untradeable Should be a one off quest To stop it being too op etc , I'm sure many have had a +7 wep that has gone rip and they've quit the game fir several months/some indefinitely

Thats the risk u take with gear i like the +2 free but giving you a 'free hit' on +7 items seems OP we don't need more humans running around with +8 weapons that's for sure |
