All that needs to happen is to change the AI to use an attacking aura instead of regular hits at melee range with 400 damage so that evasion cant be used to keep it fair with the magic damage output.

If we're having a level cap increase of 5 extra levels can I ask that players who have low int use it to get more. As this would be the perfect opportunity.

problem with this tho, if mages can cap/almost cap str/int on the cap rise again, then asking warriors to give up more attk to get abit more int to hunt mags , then mages will end up with more str than warriors with str/dex, and the int they will have for mags wont help them vs mages

Most mages have more STR than me and I have average dex also. If I'm to train INT to hunt mags I'm basically making my character finished pvp.

Example a mage posted his stats recently on discussion hall:

His stats
230str 90dex 220int

My stats
220str 180dex 139int

I would most likely not do much damage to this guy as it is and at cap raise he will do more STR.

past cap raise mages havent been able to lvl as they already capped int

melee damage is massive and with hit rate you would smash him lol.

Fair point tbh.. but a mele version of the mags is just as fair... on a different map as suggested.... split up the mages/ warriors farming items... might help spreading mages/warriors on different maps.
Many new characters now have become mage in last few months... don't warriors to become a dying breed.
Elder spawn is a bit thin on the ground in vod with more than 3-4 ppl there.
Can't have too much of a good thing.

you can be a warrior with 150/160 int?

not really.... as grim says above... to hunt elders efficiently as a warrior u really need 160-80+ int approx..... and getting that makes u weak as both a warrior against others, and useless as a minimage.
Ye u can mele elders with 150 ish int.. but ur burning some serious pots and can't stay for a long hunt.
Maybe BMG's and a few m tag weps will help.. but healing as a weapon user is jsut not credible.. so u have to pot.

On the other hand though.. it's proly time some of these 80-120 int warriors got some more int... then they can't moan about being 1- hit by mages.... pff...hard choices for all x

Biggest problem .. i think.. tho pls correct me.. aint sure..but....
Mages have low dex ( generally) and warriors have low int....
Maybe some way of increasing those stats after lev 125 ..so players with low levels in those stats can gain a bit more than the usual 3.0 ish stats per level... like.. gain them quicker if they invest a level or 2 into int as a warrior or into dex as a mage.......

Lupi imo the dying warrior breed is purely down to how op proc is now
Limiting this somewhat would help
1v1 without a stupidly op knuck warrior struggle to get a kill, unless they get lucky zombie procs off
Mage chance is remarkably high of getting a kill

op mage procs are huge for sure..and mages had a lot of love recently.. and for sure mages are increasing on the server...
no idea about how easy or not it is to balance things.. maybe a bit of love for warriors could be applied in new patch.. or maybe warriors need to gain a bit/ lot more int..and mages could proly do with a hefty dose of dex..this might mix things up a bit..
possibly make armours go +8 .. and allow us to mix and match eva AND accuracy.. would open up a whole new range of possibilities.. somethin like that.
no idea tbh.. so many options... a gm's nightmare proly, as every1 gona moan about something being unbalanced...

Oh..and aint played my mage for about 6 months till 2-3 days ago... duno if i missed something on forums...but big thankyou to Fin for whatever he's done..... casting faster.. less interruptions from mobs.. almost like playing a new game from a mage perspective.. brilliant.. wd Fin x
