The current pvp and pve maps.....

Now that it’s possible to have maps with pk on or off I have to say though I’m sure a lot of the pve players will be pleased IMHO it’s now gone the wrong direction at the expense of the pvp players.

I know I’ve been voicing the pve players but not at the expense of alienating the pvp players.

Valley of death with pk off is sooooooooooo so wrong it’s home to most of the best bosses for one and there should always be some risk entering a map with death in its name.

I know I’ve mentioned merc and abias with pk off and tyt, dungeon and vod with pk on before but these maps allow the pve players access to full range of mobs to level up on in peace and these same mobs are also in the other 3 maps that in my opinion should always stay pk on.

So I guess this post really is for the gm’s to consider this suggestion to allow all players to enjoy Soma at its best, I would also suggest maybe slightly increasing drop rates on the pk maps 10-20% for the risk involved?

I saw this post under ideas and was going to comment there

Although I'm generally against PVE Maps I feel the game is moving in that direction

I do however think that these maps should have a reduction in drop count or a buff on the PK map

I would like this then being an end to immunity as if your taking the risk of a PK map there shouldn't be a need to take 2 deaths and carry on, makes it kind of pointless it being a PK map

not gona be much help unless there a spawn of all the higher end mobs on all maps.. nms in tyt, elders in merc...etc etc
seems a lot of work for Fin..
What's up with immunity pots for angel moral players .. get them from dailies or donation store.. otherwise no changes..
Then if u wana go full pve.. u just go angel.. if not.. u don't.

Some players say they only play for pk.. some only wana level.. some inbetween..
This way the choices are open for all and every1 wins.

Could add a new + level of moral that makes the players name go green .. so its clear ur using immunity.. to identify easier.

Isylver proly got all this under control and knows what he gona do anyway..

List of top end levelling mobs....

Merc - hellish trolls - vod
Merc - necro wasps - vod
Abias - enraged boars - vod
Abias - valk shaman - dungeon
Abias - blg - vod
Abias - nightmare - vod

As you can see each mob would have 1 spawn on the proposed pk on map and pk off map

I think it should return to the way it was before.

PK mode on one map was just for the event to give the possibility of pvp at guild village should anyone want to pvp.

Soma is an open world game where anything can happen and it should be protected from changing into PVE only maps at all cost.

I would only be in favour of no PK on conti. As RvR is so good.

current map ssytem doesnt work and old system doesnt accomodate all players.i klnow some people wont liek it but you cant please all.

I am not a fan of maps with PK off but if thats where things are going then limit those maps.

I agree with Raven, at least make Merc and Abias PK off and buff the PK on maps.

Remove immunity as Tyro has mentioned.

One thing to consider though, turning off PK on any map will promote botters the latest example

Other than if Isylver does an event and PK is turned off on those maps until the event is over, why is there a need to remove PK at all? What benefits does having PK turned off actually bring to the game? It's like this is addressing an issue that doesn't exist?

There's no such thing as harrasment or boss monopolisation, you take 2 deaths and carry on doing whatever you were doing. I

perm ban all botters and IP trace all accounts to it


also never seen so many people cry about PK lol yeah its off so what lol go do something else other then soma lol

i'm sure i've said this several times before - a simple flagged for PVP ON / OFF switch for each player.
Switch only works in town - you want to PVP then warp to town, switch ON and run back. You want to PVE, warp to town, switch OFF and run back.
No take 2 pointless deaths or silly potions - just a switch...................................

For me the issue is that you can't hide and hunt, /pos /lastonline commands tell you that a players online and then you can just trace said player(or even easier just a educated guess at where there hunting)

Botting is rife atm. Its just catching people out.

iSpartan was also banned last night for botting. Ironic really.

I'm not sure why you would need to hide and hunt on an open world game in which your in essentially a PvP guild, what's breaking the game is people just chasing the 2 Kill an hour noob hunt
