Quest Tracker

Author Content Date
QoL:

Enable tracking on particular quest/quests. Display in the top right corner and have it display a counter to go up in real time (similar to what is already displayed in your quests log). Keep it displayed even after relogging back into game, until you turn it off or change quest track.

Ie. Palus Proposal: Slay 199 Palus - 132/199 [displayed in orange]
Palus Proposal: Slay 199 Palus - 156/199 [displayed in orange]
Palus Proposal: Slay 199 Palus - 199/199 [displayed in green]

* you don't have to keep going into the quests to look how many you've got left to kill.
* jogs memory to know what you were doing before you logged off.
* Visually encourages you to keep going with quests

its tracked server side. to send this to every player hunting would cause even more overhead when its already not optimal. a notification when a quest is complete or when it hits milestones of maybe 10% increments could work tho

when you are 125 and have accepted most quests that have a reward you want to work toward and the numbers are as absurd as 5k, 10k. you are not clearing that any time soon. to scroll through all those to whatever you are doing on any given day is also absurd.

Yeh, one of the main reasons I've suggested it is because every time you log out, it resets to the top of the quest pile again - you then have to search for it again. Just a quality of life alteration.

With a tracker, you don't lose it with the added benefit of visual encouragement

Even if its tracked server side, you could add in a counter client side, the server side would just be the main counter(so if ppl managed to edit there count client side, it would just display wrong to the actual count that matters

the quest array is built everytime u open quest log. so u dont receive any quest info etc until its opened. so u cant track client side unless opened to receive quest progress/status etc
