NITEFALL |
They have numbers over devil.
Each hsoma charater can have stone. They can all weaken and zombie and are increasingly becoming more stronger 1v1 against devils. No balance in RvR atm |

This is 100% correct
I know isylver wants them more even but most just compare the stats and ignored the fact stone/magics/+8weps are only available to one race (and the numbers game) If they get new armours and weps comparable its nn devs as that is the difference atm Though i will say what youre referring to perfect is just mages in general from both worlds

any human can kill a devil in seconds? WRONG have you seen how tanky that 90% devils are? if you're referring to proc, yeh proc is part of the game and it helps with RVR and if it didn't, dsoma mages would be irrelevant with same race fights as well as RVR, that is why its in the game? if you're moaning about proc then realise that dsoma needs it more than hsoma... @nitefall can tank a decent amount, maybe 3-4 mages vs just him, so thats fine is it not? unless of course you want devil axers to be unkillable? @h4wkeye you're acting as if devils can't spec properly to fight RVR? they have the option to play a spec that is purely dsoma vs dsoma OR take that extra MD and play a more RVR role, when you play hsoma you level and spec a character for a specific reason, tank, mage, archer (no respecs). why don't you stop acting like hsoma is op and realise that ur speccing wrong instead of moaning. ALL dsoma can spec in a way nitefall does to take less damage and still put out the same dmg vs RVR, i play an archer than has more md and i don't have a problem with rvr or dsoma vs dsoma.

In response to the title:
On Dsoma admittedly less so, but in short yes if you spec/gear/play correctly vs Hsoma mage, especially as an archer lol. |

SALEM |
Bring in blink with a slightly longer range, ctf slow for all r1 and give an r2 slow for spear.
Change 5th axe to be same as 3rd but give it maybe range 2 or 3 with the same animation as that blue magic earth attack spell. Give mages a directional teleport spell with an appropriate cool down. Bring back stagger for all magic/melee/archer hits. All this stuff together will slow down running and encourage fighting instead of just running until somebody gets 5th axed.

I think its been going on before now. just type mage into the search but as playing amage i dont see a problem with the damage i just see an issue with 5th axe makig the mage op tbh. warriors suck against mages generally especially if u got a range 1 weapon and if u use bow itshti and run till 5thed lol

GRIMPIRATE |
Game is pretty well balanced yes. You can build your character to fight in any situation. However, Human warriors are the only characters who are basically useless in RvR (without being stone, weaken and zombie bots) and have reason to complain.
The only thing ridiculous about mages is the multiple DB procs at once and IMO should be made so you can only proc DB once.

Ufg: "too many mages! "
DL: "go for a warrior build with high int" Ufg: "ok we've got warriors with high int now" DL: "I knew you would, So we've prepared dex mages" Ufg: "then we counter this with warriors with high dex" DL: "tank mages again" It's just a vicious circle there. A mild solution: if you don't have much time and resources, play a mage. Somehow due to the current pandemic you have some spare time for Soma but still you don't want to get too much stress for gears, pvp or boss, play mage. I'm not sarcastic. I'm genuinely recommending. Great pvp, great mag (though elder sucks to mages as well) hunting so on. Mages have automatic targeting after feathering while warriors don't have such. Just cast and feather. Not fancy skills in targeting needed. You will get to enjoy all types of contents in-game pretty fast. Only if you like to play hardcore playing alone that you can farm recourses for a year at least after capping, you can play a decent warrior. If you're not lucky enough finding someone selling decent gears, you need to farm so many rubies, diamonds and gears and spend long time in crafting. Plus, you might have to bear griefing from mages every hour and if you fight back you will lose chance to farm for 60 mins and be at risk of losing your gear. Imagine you're a new player and lose your item by griefing. If so, you just have to leave the game. This restricts new warriors fight back and even 2 deaths do not stop some mages trash talking to provoke. The best reply from them will be "this is how it is." So play mage if you're new/returning player. There are many more people selling mage gears at more affordable price. This is all. The chain of arguments somehow got too heated recently, just upsetting both warriors and mages. One thing that matters in this game is that some of players played this game for many many years and they've been playing mages since day 1. You can make a causal guess that nerfing mages affect old loyal players more than new/returning ones who might want to play mellee. On the side note, in my opinion, GMs are doing well. Imagine running this game for this long. Personally, after all the unpleasant bullying from DL/Faint mages since first day of joining this game, I enjoyed playing this game. There are portions in the management which fall into the domains of in-game politics, not saying one shouldn't express his/her idea though. We cannot reach a good conclusion if all of us don't yield back a bit and make room for a change.

"4634"+1 change 5th stone to be based on dex differences. Great idea. Make dsoma axer's 5th last 0.2 seconds on an archer. |

Its highly unlikely if levelled (on hsoma) and geared correctly, but yea it is a possibility.
You should only be able to fire off 1 proc type per time, still allow multiple different proc's at the same time but not multiple of the same type (double db proc for instance) as that is pretty broken admittedly.
