Windowed mode issue

I'm sure this is a common/dumb question but when the game gets patched I'm struggling to load the copied secondary windowed game (2 accounts logged in at once) - it says that I am not on the updated version, please patch it.

When I go in the copied "Myth of Soma" folder and try to launch "SomaDevLauncher" or "SomaDevLauncherUpdate" to try and patch it like the original game nothing happens - I assume this is a windows 10 issue?

The way I've been getting round it is to delete the entire copied folder, and re-copy it to get the updated version. Is there a less long-winded solution to it?

I have 2 soma folders

C:/myth of soma

And

C:/myth of soma boh

I just patch them individually and they both work fine(windows 10)

Just to clear some things up thats possibly gone wrong

When you launch the game launcher and click play to play soma, the launcher remains active in the background and won't launch a 2nd launcher wilsts is active in the background

The way round this is by making a short cut of soma window.exe and opening properties on the shortcut and adding soma ip to the end of the target location(this will bypass the launcher so you will need to run the launcher every now and again to update) - (may need to change to 16 bit colours in the compatibility tab also) - (ip can be found in soma.ini file)

If you already do that then you may have made the mistake of running the launcher with soma window already running and the game pages but dosnt actuly patch the launcher as it was running, you need to delete gameversion.ini(can't remember exact file if someone rectify me)

Thanks so much!
I've found that running the copied launcher while the original isn't in the background does work!

Thanks for getting back to me !
