The catch 22 on dailies and immunity potions.
The amount of dailies you can do has been increased from 2 to 3 so it seems a good Qol addition you would believe. The addition of the bug quest to kill 25 for a daily seems good but once completed you are then faced with 2 routes log off and wait till the next day to do this quest safely in town to get the second daily that it costs for an immunity potion to be able to level, farm in peace for the hour. Or venture out of town with the risk of being attacked while trying to do a second daily to gain two for the immunity potion to then be able to level, farm in peace for the hour. Or once you have done the two dailies ( one in safety and one with risk ) you could use the immunity potion to do the third daily. Not too sure about others but this seems to be flawed, it doesn’t scream out to me to want to make any of the lower level players that the immunity potions are aimed at to want to log on, I maybe wrong but????

I don't think its a valid argument, if you are too scared to leave town then there is not much hope.
This server has turned into a PVE server, regardless if that was the right or wrong decision its fact. We can't ask for all of our daily tokens to be achievable within a town. -EDIT- That wasn't aimed at you, but in general, if people are too scared to leave town to hunt for a daily token then they need to load up that PS2 and play solo games, Soma isn't for them.

Reason I posted it was I got a message off a friend that didn’t make sense, that I was unsure of how it all worked so I tested it on a couple of characters. I thought the bug quest was repeatable but turned out it wasn’t. I thought there was other bug quests to gain dailies due to reading something along that line but was wrong. I posted to show what some players may face and are not willing to post due to fear of retribution ingame.

Understood mate, but i think the downfall in that case is the players view of Soma and the type of game it is, it's literally a shadow of its former self in regards to PvP

I've tested this myself. Hunted 3 dailies everyday for the last week. Wasn't bothered once by anyone. Now I have 10 immunity potions in my wh and 8 extra dailies. I've used some pots and got some from quests also.
Personally, I don't think immunity should be in the game at all but at least people have to do some work to get these pots.

Most that know me know I don’t want any players to feel there pushed away from playing Soma regardless of if your a PvP or PvE type of player. Soma is for everyone, I just want the UC to grow to the heights it once was and beyond.
The dailies/immunity potion just seemed odd, the catch 22. Maybe if they were just one daily to buy might be a way to solve there struggle instead of two per potion, was just a thought to help the players there aimed at I guess.

The immunity pots are stupid, both in use and in method of obtaining. Can't hunt in peace? Go out and hunt for a bit, then you can hunt in peace. Amazing.
Remove immunity altogether and give people who don't give a shit about pvp a way of opting out on a weekly/monthly basis. Obviously the same old names would whine about that but they've whined about pretty much everything and look where we are now.

U/C is shot and not enough to do to get the big firm of players before from both mutiny/omerta dl and vikings back.
5 lvls of cap increase isnt cutting it and the time needed to farm to improve kit to have balanced pvp with the hardcore lot is too long winded. so when persisant pvp is rammed down your throat most just choose something more enjoyable to do. i havnt got this answers for this, but i think really increasing the drop rate so casuals can compete. and much more quests or things to do should be looked at. i for one would like to see increased aura levels which could be implemented with quests or tasks aura one slightly more attack or dodge slight increase in duration or evasion 3rd slightly greater attack or duration depending on class so on and so forth this would require people to log in and farm/hunt quest to be on par in fights etc and hopefully get the u/c increased along with prehaps a permanent increase in drops so people will risk upping and breaking gear and ease the hardship of trying to go for a +8 item again

I agree with your whole comment but these are big problems and i dont understand why gms and most of the community dont get this!!! Server needs some major tlc and and major overhaul in regards to getting gear ! Loits of people have made suggestions but none of them have seem to taken no1 wants to wait a year or 2 for end game gear. I agree with your whole comment but these are big problems and i dont understand why gms and most of the community dont get this!!!

My only experience of the character WIPEOUT is doing laps of tyt killing peoples bugs while doing con, mob stealing my noob at hoarde shanis and killing all of the molten magus at mag spawn to annoy me, and then chasing me off conti on sh1vs when I called her out. So maybe, don't be a cunt and you won't be bothered, ta

Only see the big/regular player views? you mean the people who have been playing this server for a long time and make suggestions based on what stops them logging on? You haven't been pked in 6 months, mate. Get a grip.

I'm a "carebear", but I honestly think the game has been made easy enough for new people. New tabs quest (they can either use or save up for items to trade), +2 100% chance, ×1.5 drops and experience, the list goes on.
If they are willing to speak with others, plenty of people around that are willing to help new people. I do think "take the 2" should be brought back though. I would say an easier way to obtain gold/dark/shadow, but displacer is under-rated and and under-used.
