Economy suggestions

We’ve had several quests for nega tears and double tabs. You’ve also got the option to attend nega, even chars which aren’t fully kitted out stand a better chance of killing a boss than those that don’t.

How can you actually sit there and say it’s not fair that some people have these items and you don’t, it’s very simple. They attend bosses and occasionally get the kill.

Those who put the effort in at bosses / grinding / farming will always be better geared than those who don’t it’s a fact.

never mentioned it 'not being fair'
just totally op
and a wish for other players who cant attend bosses 24/7 to have a chance of some catchup one way or the other..or those players won't be playing anymore?
seems reasonable?
or maybe not...

I don’t play much anymore in comparison to what I did play and I still do just fine at bosses. Granted occasionally I’ll take my laptop to work for Bertha, or set an alarm for the midnight Bertha to help get items but generally I spend less than 15 hours a week on soma now.

It’s not OP because it’s open to everyone.

Its a bad idea to do anything to barr.

It will affect noobs, crafting for those who arent capped already, combine rates as ppl will be even more fussy about what goes in and in turn less items in economy.

Ive also seen easy access currency sources switched off over night in other games and it will lead to winners and losers. There will be economy monopoly for players who already have several stores with capped barr already.

The solution to make a level playing field for all is to add a new currency that only drops from vafer/prism and new mobs going forward. Call it high purity barr or whatever the name isnt important.

In order to prevent us landing in the exact same position we are in now down the the line is to introduce proper meaningful currency sinks that are pivotal for advancement.

So some players have suggested a shop with worth while items.

We could also have private boss spawning rooms for the new currency which would automatically give it player driven economy value.

A new type of event that requires access with the currency is a must.

Yeah barr's value can't be increased without biasing the entire game towards people who have tons already

About a new currency it sounds like the daily system to me, are those daily marks tradable?

Why not create a mystical fragment shop? It's already 3 mystical fragments for a negatear. Maybe a shop of sorts for that?

Anything bought from a shop, if implemented shouldn't be able to be combined. Also, combine should scale with the level of the item being used.
