It is fantastic that we have a new addition to the game and it is very much appreciated.

However, this new boss seems to lack value for effort (particularly where dsoma is concerned) and I am sorry to say it just feels like it has been rushed together and stuck in as a 'quick fix' new bit of content that spawns in a really awkward/difficult place and doesn't really drop consistently enough to be worthwhile.

For example, the boss currently spawns in the top left of VOD / Infernal Caves... it's meant to be a 'mage boss' but we already have several examples of warriors killing this boss. It is also deemed such a waste of time and effort on devil soma that both it and it's ads are being left unkilled. This in turn is then hindering the negamare run at t6 because warriors who are running the crystals for humans are dying to this boss and it's adons whereas because human soma is at least killing it the devils have a clear pathway for securing nega crystals.

All in all I think this boss mob addition was poorly thought out and executed.

Could this be reviewed with the outlook of making the following happen:

- Make it a secure mage mob which means well-equipped mele find it difficult to kill it.

- Change it's spawn place in VOD / IC so that it doesn't hinder the negamare run if people leave it unkilled.

- Improve the drops to make them consistent so that the boss is worth the effort of killing it on both Human Soma and Devil Soma.

Thank you for taking the time to read and engage with this constructive feedback.

Drops are already tweaked just needs loading in.

There’s a bug with the spawn which is already fixed for the next reboot.

I disagree that it was “poorly thought out” it was an attempt to listen to the community and give them a repeatable boss later in the soma day. So I find that insulting.

I was trying something new - to make it a little different to a standard boss. Unfortunately that didn’t seem to be well received here.

To clarify the bosses purpose is not a negamare replacement - given the little effort it takes to spawn it.

Thank you for the response.

It is great that the drops are already being tweaked and shall be loaded in when the next reboot occurs.

I am also glad that a bug with the spawn is being looked at and fixed for the next reboot too.

Expressing my opinion regarding a boss being poorly thought out is not an attempt to insult you. It is good that you have gone into some brief detail about the logic behind the creation of this boss as an attempt to listen to the community and give us a repeatable boss later in the soma day. Focus on the positives and that this is a good forward thinking conversation.

I personally think the idea of a repeatable boss later on in the soma day is a great one. It just needs some adjusting and I also encourage you to take onboard feedback rather than to feel insulted by anyone raising their opinion/feedback.

The issue regarding negamare is that the current location of the new boss spawn can disrupt people doing the t6 crystal run (something which was experienced by Bona only this morning which is what prompted me to make this post and raise it as a potential issue in the first place). Perhaps that can be looked into and a new spawn location identified?

Thank you for your time. Keep up the good work.

All valid feedback but “poorly thought out” is not constructive.

So equally implore you to consider how you deliver it.

We’ll see how the new one goes once it is loaded in.

Most games have new bosses/characters/maps added that require tweaks after launch. I also think the feedback from Brownbread is unnecessarily insulting.

My feedback would be:
- I've had just an alt gem drop and today saw Pixel get just a valour scroll.
- Mintons jewells are dropping randomly from the minions and maybe, the boss too.
- Haven't seen a nega bow/staff drop so far, could just be RNG though.
- Soul shards might be dropping a bit too much.
- Drops could be added for mages, Tab of virt/mac/lore/wisdom/courage/water/volt
- Further drops could be small ruby, small diamond etc

Overall it's great to see more people logging in for this boss, some pvp at it and people not interested in pvp can use an immunity pot. Thanks for the boss and the changes, when it's loaded in I will test it out. Thanks.

EDIT: could drop file be added to armory if possible?

Some points have some value but I do strongly disagree with a lack of thought went into the new boss and the hindering of an unkilled negamare?

In regard to a lack of thought the reason I feel thought went into ithis is because it spawn time and its location to me is because you get the other bosses spawning by the gorshak spawn - and its an apus boss spawning in the apus bit? how hasnt time and effort gone behind this? And tweaks are already prepared!

Changing its location due to unkilled negamare or left over ads is hardly the gms fault. You can always run 2 people to one crystal to tackle the ads like one lures and then the other does the crystal???????
