I have been hunting at prism spiders recently and have killed around 2k in total. Yet today I realised I have no barr, before prism I had over 5 mill. Which made me realise you are lucky to get 2 or 3 barr drops per hunt and a menial amount, literally made around 6k per hunt. I would say I could make barr selling the drops (lol) but not a huge market for amethysts and untagged ancient female armour.

Need to make it so you can actually at least break even per hunt with barr drops as you rinse pots due to the way they spawn, vision and bloody poison.

Yeh, they aren't great when it comes to accumulating Barr.

I do mag hunts in between to get the Barr back up

Prism are the hardest mob in game. There min damage is too high, I went about 30m in when hunting these.

They hit hard but as a white mage you can cure and heal and as black you can antidote and heal?

Once you find a rhythm these shouldn't cost you anything as they didn't for me?

I only aoe int, so I would gather 3, heal to full, weaken, heal to full then drop them and heal with cures in-between.

Once you find a rhythm these really shouldn't put you out of pocket to hunt other than sr's.

I got an anti poison bracelet made and used that at it, if you are short for barr, you can always sell the drops you get there for barr and this would give you a guaranteed profit. Also you have the option to hunt mags as a mage, which warriors really dont have, would recommend doing a daily at spiders and then doing a daily at mags for the barr.

Use ma gear, pick up everything except untagged, keep your mp near full for faster regen.
I hunt with DB (7 hits) and frostwind, never have to look at barr
