I've tried uninstalling and re-installing client. I try to run the game in windowed, the window opens briefly but then closes, nothing else seems to happen. The game will run with "Window mode" check box unchecked fine.

When I run the game in non window mode, if something pulls me to the desktop, when I alt-tab back the graphics are messed up. I would like to run it in windowed mode to perhaps prevent the graphics issue.

Any idea where to start looking?

I get this too, any tips on fixing it would be appreciated.

Without some error its hard to understand what's going off

The only thing I can point to is your firewall killing the exe from running

could be compat mode needing to be set to 16 bit in somawindow.exe properties

I deleted the game/files etc and download it all fresh and got the same error. However I downloaded it again into another folder so I had two copies and the second copy works fine. 1st copy still plays up. Deleted first copy and 2nd copy played up Downloaded again so I had two copies and 2nd copy works fine. I've just left the first copy sitting on my drive taking up space but game works fine this way. Be interesting to know is this work around works for others.
