This idea stems from not being a big fan of speed upgrades on weapons. Firstly, how it's overpowered but secondly how it then impacts options and diversity.
A big problem to me is that the other upgrades are just far too underwhelming on weapons. My suggestion is give other upgrades a large buff to weapons specifically. Rather than introducing new items, could we not tweak the numbers on items already there. It doesn't make sense to me that upgrade items have the same result regardless of whether it's put on armour, accessory or weapon. I will use a couple of examples: - Accuracy. Add 1% to armour but buff this to 5% on weapons (then 2, 2, 1 or something) - Damage. Rather than adding just 1-1 attack, boost it to say 5-5 then 3-3 then 2-2, 2-2, 2-2 - POD. Double or even triple the effect it has on weapons from armour. Creating a true crit weapon. Probably endless ideas. I speak mainly from dsoma experience but I feel certain classes could really benefit. Like a knuckle user preferring damage or accuracy. An Axer going full out damage. Or a sword user going full out crit for that hit and 5th. You may find people also preferring to mix upgrades, like +2 speed and +1 accuracy and +1 damage (not sure if all tilhis is possible). Regards

Having different options would definitely be good for shaking up the meta.
Like instead of adding speed to a knuckle, add a huge amount of damage etc. Although to make people not choose speed, it would likely have to be something like +10 attack each +1 as DPS of a fully upped speed upgraded weapon would massively outshine 20-30 damage. The only issue with implementing this would be the effect on balance if someone added 80 attack to a valour weapon whilst most have no defence against them as they are.

It's a fresh idea but speed is king. Might be good on dsoma where weps speed ups only go +5. Doubt anyone would really want 10+ att when they can get more DPS shaving off 100 rec.

Would be gd if speed had an actual cap. Instead of people trying pure +8 speed weps to have a cap forsay +5 ( wether toe or ss ) then that's your cap for speed. So u can add a secondary range if u got the bottle for the att / dura or as was mentioned months ago adding a second stat to armour or maybe weps so u can add tabs/ pods to then increase further. So not many weps can be identical.
