mages can not cast - they run round in full armor yet new weps will ultimately 2 hit any of them.

why can melle chars wear ancient? yet it has no use to mages? they can then use the best armor in game champion yet some mages can not wear it? they get gear to deal with mages, and gear to deal with melle chars?

melle chars can stop 99% of hsoma mages from casting yet dsoma black mages get dispell?

like you said use stone, pvp now revolves around 5th axe .. 5th a melle char in ancient and that has decent int mage can not kill alone .. 5th a mage knux will out the weak and kill every time.

champion armor make equivalent that can be equipped with INT

mages can not even wear MD against other mages because it is not worth it, melle chars will kill you even quicker.


Completely logical argument here, but good luck with anyone agreeing with it.

I used to have the same argument with 100 int char’s who wore zero robe’s, moaning they get one banged with weaken lol and saying mage is broken OP - when they can drop a mage in full FP gear with a knuckle in about 3 seconds.

Another part of the reason id of liked to see a boost in ma but 35% has been added......maybe a nerf can happen in md and dsoma staff?

I think part of the issue of going off percentages is it doesn’t account for skill bonus, of which staff gets none (of any actual use, never seen a mage banging down targets with staff swing’s 🤣).

Does seem like the hsoma staff is a poor upgrade in comparison to how much more is gained from melee weapon’s, and that’s without accounting for the skill bonus of actual use melee weapon user’s get.

If I remember right we took the average increase in dps from nega tier to valour tier and that came out as 34% across the board. So that got added to the hsoma staff.

*increases staff to be best melee damage in game* everyone staff bashing.

considering with weak.. mages do 2x damage.. moaning about wep skill bonuses for mele characters isn't really an issue..

There’s more to it than that, and there’s such thing as a blue serum - where’s the serum to counter skill bonus from melee lol?

epic nega staff top end 44 add 34% = 15 = 59 total (around this number) on valour staff is that right?

nega warban int 100 dmg - 34% = 34 - valour axe is around 133 epic?

not sure if that is right or not?

Weak is hardly used in pk and you have serums to cancel them, unless weakened you can outpot. you cant outpot melee weapons atm

Every tag level can add up to 10% stat bonus from the untagged counterpart.

So hard = up to 10% from untagged
Rare = up to 20% from untagged, etc.

Simple calculation is to get the untagged stat, divide by 100 to find 1%, multiply that by 110 for hard for instance and you have your top end hard roll numbers.

Not 100% how it works on rounding up/down but that’ll get you very close to figuring out top roll’s.

tbh..as players gears, int and weps get more powerful..and att increases fairly rapidly.. and will continue bigtime as the new stuff comes ingame...
might be time to introduce the 150 hp pots to the shops.. might help everyone

That’s the point I was making :o, we levelled out the DPS across all weps. If we did that for mages, it would be a nerf (also depends on spell used etc). So we looked at what the average increase was across the board on all these weps and then applied that to staff.

If you got int and wore decent md you will find mages will have a hard time killing u and you can still 2 hit them
