From what i understand its the person offering the repair that has to right click and select repair on the other person, not the person wanting the repair right clicking if that makes sense.

I tried right clicking him and pressing repair, it said, Waiting for Poopants? He changed to special and tried to trade but it wouldnt do anything when I clicked repair.

There is a text bug there. Fair few of them ingame now so what it actually means is you are waiting for him to press OK.
So if i am on sb99 and i right click on corleone and press repair... on sb99s screen it will say waiting for sb99 (but not actually waiting for sb99 lol )and on corleones screen it will say "sb99 has offered to repair, will u accept? OK/CANCEL" so the only waiting you are doing is for corleone to press ok. Corleone will have to put the item he wants repaired on the left hand side of the screen, the right hand side of the screen is for trading something in exchange for the sr.
