I keep disconnecting randomly, the box with the OK button on (You have been disconnected from the server)
I tried with the launcher, I tried resetting resolution back to 800x600 (from 1280xwhatever) Tried doing a link to the windowed.exe with IP address. I'm not doing anything in particular, can be in town or when out of town hunting. Quite annoying and unsure how to fix. I used your download link from main page and updater and haven't tampered with anything other than the ini file for resolution. I have dual monitors but have also tried on my laptop with the same issue. Event Viewer shows below but google doesn't come out with much: Faulting application name: SomaWindow.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x40ee49e0 Faulting module name: ucrtbase.dll, version: 10.0.19041.789, time stamp: 0x82dc99a2 Exception code: 0xc0000409 Fault offset: 0x0009eddb Faulting process ID: 0x87e0 Faulting application start time: 0x01d7c9a733d2bed5 Faulting application path: C:\Old\Myth of Soma\SomaWindow.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\ucrtbase.dll Report ID: 5a02f554-7907-4876-8090-4e5a19a026a1 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID:

try using pingzapper free trial.
sometimes happens when the connection to server is interrupted somewhere along the line. it could be an isp issue also where they think the client/server is a p2p thing and cuts off the connection |

I'm on a leased line so doubtful they'd terminate the connection, I can send an email I guess. I saw a dll issue on event viewer added as an edit above.

If anyone cares
I tried a VPN to rule out the comment above @ADVANTAGE and it seems that's resolved the issue. Must have been disconnected at ISP level. |
