Not sure if its just me but when i pre-cast weaken, then move in to cast it (should be instant) it starts the casting of weaken again, if i move to break the second casting im not able to cast another spell for what would seam to be the casting duration of weaken. Is very annoying and completly voids the benifit of pre-cast (well most of it).

this is due to fastcast being implimented. they could always remove fastcast if that suits?

altho maybe its possible to have fast cast only active while a certain range of spell numbers is selected, maybe something fin can look into for extension

As said by Superman it's due to fast cast. It's the same for every spell.

So what is fast cast (what you get from second staff aura) or is it just and nother name for casting the spell after you pre-cast it.

It allows you to cast continuously by holding the right mouse button rather than right clicking each time.
