Tracing Mob's

Can anyone advise/help me with the names for the mobs when trying to trace them. 18 letters seems to be the limit. I use to play on the original 20+ years ago and I'm sure there are shortened name's you could enter for the longer named mobs (But I'm old and memories maybe wrong) and then there are mobs with shorter names that can not be traced either like "Devil's guard" and "Raptor Hive Mother" Why?

Devil's Guard can be traced - you need the correct apostrophe thingy which is located on the very left of a standard keyboard under the ESC key.
I have never had any trouble with Raptor Hive Mumsie I dunno about the longer names though 8( |

Thanks for the reply and the info on the DG's ` as you guessed I've been using the wrong one. I guess the RHM is one of them that get killed pretty quick, I'll try Tracing it as soon as I see the text for it's arrival. :) shame about the long names.
