"GANDALF" I think this is because it's server wide, if someone's own connection is playing up and they d/c and drop something they have to take responsibility because the problem is on their end. Personally I haven't hunted since I logged in with 86 hp near dead, it was just too risky.

I do think sylverangel should have his item(s) returned to him, along with anyone else who has lost something recently.
Though it should be limited to this particular event. Else i'd be asking for my intense diabolist hat to be reinstated back when server was being DDOS'd and i'm sure many others would have claims to make too. My 2 cents.

The server eating the item is bad enough but it's much worse when other players profit from finding something you've paid a a lot for or made yourself over time.

Completely agree.

Good to see this coming for GM. i made a thread before when server gone mad and dropped my apus bow + 2 toe speed b, please take a look if this was picked or eaten by the server. I doubt someone picked it due to no one can log in that time. kajoken

Well the +4 bow (SYLVERANGEL) was picked up by another player. But we can see where such items have gone and will decide what going to do about returning them within next few days.[/quote]
