Hi everyone
I've just hit 151 and know that I should switch to axe until 171. First time I've been in this territory so wondering how to go about it. Do I skill up on Bugs until I have the skill for BWA, then go back to BLG, or can you go back to BLG earlier than this, with a lower skill requirement axe? I just want to be sure so I don't hurt my stat gain. Thanks!

You can go to blg with a t axe and get the same stats as you would with a bwa, it’ll just take longer to kill them. Best bet is to just hunt with lower skill axes and you’ll gain str and skill at the same time.

You can use any axe and it will give the same stats. It's just that it's faster with a higher tier axe, as you can kill mobs faster.
Personally I just took a training axe, power axe, great axe to BLG and skilled up there. With x2 rates, you'll have enough skill for BWA in a couple of days.

Excellent, thanks guys. I was worried that using a low-skill axe might harm gains, but if they're all the same then I'd rather be gaining stats and skilling at the same time lol.
Much appreciated :) |
