This has been mentioned many times now on the forum and also on the discord channel.
I think it’s about time it’s revisited. When hero two armor came out, we didn’t have double tabs nor did we have the +2 100% (I think that came in just after hero 2?) So a lot of us broke our stuff using old RDT’s. I think having a one time chance to replace one part of your hero armor is fair. Keep the same requirements of full set off that maps essence’s.

Firstly i'd like to say thank you for using the correct part of the forums to express you thoughts.
And I agree something would be good. Maybe a item back from npc for collecting all tomes (again) and then trade this item in for a hero 2 part repeatable twice?

Each time soma’s goal posts moved this suggestion has been brought up many times.
When we only had hero 1 armour but back then we didn’t have the +1 and +2 100% success at the anvil many players risked hero 1 parts and lost.... hence there posting of this suggestion in the past. Same happened when hero 2 came out, then again after the double tabs came out. I’m torn slightly in one sense it was a unique once in a lifetime type of quest and possibly stay that way. Then again I feel that with the time you would have to invest collecting all the essences then why limit it to a second or possible third try. If a player is willing to collect them over and over then have it limitless. This way it will aid in adding to the economy that has long left soma, just look at how the human/devil emporium has been of late. There’s more life in a cemetery than on soma trading wise.
