Anyways, I dno if changes to bosses will do much! The foundation of the game needs fixing!! Bosses aren't exactly bad, just no one in the game has the gear Maximo has!!!! |

"BROWNBREAD""MAXIMO"I think drops on bosses like crimson pride queen, shironim, warbeast lord etc need an update, I find myself and many other not going for them because of drops, better drops like frags or maybe double tabs will make a huge amount of players to attend. Lack of content and no middle alliance. so everyone ends up dl or vk when they come. New players did come. their feed back was ignored. To fix now need: New auras+ for staff to., fix second and 5th sword, New map nothing reskinned with 10 level cap raise both on stats and level added. new level raise in the mean time, just level horde mode. Update boss files. filter forum and police it. horde mode along with cap raise, map. simultaneous release

Just seeking more bosses for you to take immunity at so you can slide in and farm some drops. If you really want to do something to make these bosses viable then do something to help the usercount... try recruit to the game. Bring fresh blood in.[/quote]

I’ll pretend that made sense.
A suggestion made a while ago would freshen things up, new elder mags (also suggested in this thread) 2/3 spawn locations so no one group can control the spawn. Dropping only the very best items (again I made a list of roughly what’s needed to drop on the suggestions forum). We shouldn’t have a level raise as stats are stupidly slow exp after 240-250 so everyone will end up the same build. Which will ruin the diversity of soma.

I think many of us over the years have suggested something similar regarding bosses.
This great game of soma has evolved over the years on this server, some amazing things have been added to keep us all entertained from iSylver, Finito and from suggestions from this community. Some additions have been not so good. Bosses over time have got better, which have had better drop items but the lower or lesser bosses have just been left to rot. This new way of acquiring the top tier weapons/armour has hindered the economy of feeding these items to all players. Yeah I know negamare now drops the armour parts but that’s split between the 2 races humans/devils so there not that frequent to trickle down into the economy. The bosses have needed some tlc and looking at, tweaking, upgraded etc for a very long time. But the same problems would just surface, monopolies on bosses etc it really needs a overhaul from spawns to times to drop files. The best way to increase the fun for everyone and keep players wanting to log on and level, farm etc is to give them the ability to achieve something every time the log on. Top end mobs dropping worthwhile items or at least items worth picking up off the floor, weapons/armours/upgrades/gems this is the bread of a game, bosses are just a bonus. But definitely the way they drop needs improving cause the last hit wins just doesn’t cut it anymore.

Prestige levels on weapons and armours. Only useable on hero.

Everything else has just been a little short term fix to appease players, or string people along with the promise of horde. The final knife in the game was releasing valor weps without horde, again very short sighted. Just play and enjoy what’s left or quit for a while and see what it looks like in a few months.
