Currently power 22 and mp 16 and requires wicked moral (making it the hardest spell to get), which seems kind of pointless

All of the black magic conti spells are slightly pointless compared to spirit sword level 3

So i am suggesting changing the power and mp to 32 and power 14 the same as iron fist and increase the int requirement to like 44? i think is the requirement for iron fist / DB? Or more even ( i think the requirements for some spells go up to 75/80/85 as a max)

Just seems a shame that black magic has so many neglected spells and would make a nice change to everyone running around using iron fist / dragon breath later on in game...

Agree'd that explosion should be same power/mp/cast time as iron fist. Moral is easy on here so un-needed change.

agreed, just seems like later game everyone will go white.. for slow /iron fist.

Just to make you aware, i believe the same spell is used for the DSoma version. So it's not a point of simply buffing the spell.

If this is the case and changing the spell would affect dsoma also then this is a problem...

However there is very simple way to get around this,

There are still 3 other spells Crystal Arrow / Death Blow / Lightning Bolt (Which are all unsused in hsoma, and if Ghostlord could also confirm if any of them are unused in Dsoma (Remove the ability to learn the spell in dsoma), then we could change one of those to be an equivalent of ironfist (Range 5, power 32 , mp 14) And ofcourse increase the int requirement to learn it.

Provided the spell chosen is not one of those silly ones which take twice as long to cast as other spells.

I agree would be nice for black magic to have some spells changed, i still wish creeping chaos spell was available to hsoma, such a cool looking spell

The point I was trying to make in VOD was - why would you then go white?
Black magic has the major bonus all the way through the game of 10-10md against mobs which makes your levelling a lot faster.
Yes slow is nice and used in hunting but that is exactly what it is - slow.
Cure is seldom used in PVP situations as most use waters anyway.

Biggest pro of white is iron fist. Biggest con is MD when hunting.
Not saying a boost in the spell is out of order but it should not be as strong as IF. If black got an IF powered spell then white is redundant.

Ive always thought it quite odd that a blue magic spell is the strongest, DB.

Surely Black and/white should be the higher damaging ones, so you can really see a difference when a white & black mage fights?

You all have the 10-10md from blue magic, but depending on who you are, and who you attack, you'll be doing 10-10 more or less using black and white spells.

Blue imo should just be the basic.
