This adds balance to pvp. The pker either looses two proc rings for a chance of weaken. If you don’t want to engage in pk use serums and run away. These rings will only work well in group pvp where there could be people standing still. Don’t want to pvp run away chances of a weaken proc whilst running is very slim.

Also these rings are in game not sure what you’re getting at?

. Also these rings are in game not sure what you’re getting at?

Not in the human game are they?

What I am getting at is that it is a "Gimme" request that isn't in the interests of the game in general but, rather, the OPs character in particular (and those like him).

If such an item were available to use in PvP Vs. PvP only then it would be tickerty boo, fine and dandy and cool. I don't know if such a mechanic could be programmed by our illustrious Gods though ....

I mean it's an idea and he's suggesting it...

You could use them in PvE I suppose, they would be useful. I feel they would be awful in PvP but why would one world have and the other not? Dsoma mages are at base, stronger than hsoma mages and also have better ma items.

You do seem to have an agenda with wedding, seems an unhealthy one too.

Don't do that.

Sure, it's definitely a "warning" on a forum, on a website for a 20 year old game.

Did you need a bigger spoon raven or you good?

Stop, get some help.

I thought my reply to WeddingCake was entirely civil and reasoned. Of course, he doesn't have to agree with my opinion (neither do you).

I don't have any agenda at all with WeddingCake unless he is also Temeroso. I have assumed he isn't because I don't know to the contrary.

I assume your wading in because you want to flex your muscles and exert your superiority and dominance? Well, no worries there, I won't fight back in game.

I'm someone that actually plays the game Sir.

I'm sorry you've nothing else to say on the matter than this, but it was totally unnecessary to come at me like that. You've taken it completely out of context and come wadding in to exert your superiority and dominance?

Comment on the idea and suggest, or mind your business?

"wading in because you want to flex your muscles and exert your superiority and dominance?"

What in the hell is even that?

I'm allowed my own opinion on the matter yes?

I PvP and PvE and I've given my thoughts on it.

You 100% know that is Temeroso as it's the same derogatory remarks you make on all his post. All because he killed you, very mature.

Explain why it would only be in one world where the mages are more powerful?
Explain why it would make sense for it to be a PvE item only and the purpose of wasting GM time to make it so?
Explain why it wouldn't be good in PvP?

Nice for PK'ers

Very bad for PVErs

How is this helpful. You don't have a mage to PvE with it (as far as I'm aware) and you don't engage in PvP. So that would be like me offering my 'opinions' to an astronomer because I have eyes.

"Well, no worries there, I won't fight back in game." .....

So there's having an opinion and having an agenda. Offer actual, practical input to this idea or just don't bother. Makes you look very silly and conniving.

And no, I'm not eagerly awaiting your response to this. I don't really care, just don't get too committed on replying.

I’ll try to address your issues without escalating any difficulties;

The addition of the Brittle Bracelet would assist PKers in “PKing”. That in turn means it would be that bit harder for a PVEer to defend against an attack. It has a one sided benefit that would add a smile to a PKer and imbue more misery unto a victim (PVE). I did state this as an opinion and I did state that you didn’t need to agree.

I didn’t suggest it should be a PVE item. I suggested it would be very good as a PVP item in a PVP world. (I think you may have mis-read my post). It would be good in a PvP world because it throws added danger onto the victim.

I haven’t said anything about Mages.

Thank you for confirming WeddingCake and Temeroso are the same person. I suspected they were but I certainly didn’t know. WeddingCake refers to Temeroso in the 3rd person in a previous thread which would suggest they are not the same person. I am glad you have clarified the position.

I am not especially bothered that he PKed me twice (that’s the game, right?). I am very bothered about how he did it both times. I have no proof of what he did (because I don’t record when I play) and I won’t be drawn on it. However, targeting easy known PVE players on a server with a diminishing usercount seems to me to be one of the most stupid things a person could do. (just my opinion).

Lastly, Ravensoul’s comment and my own relevant response were to your very clear unsolicited threat.

I hope that helps to de-escalate the position.

Sounds to me like you took a deep breathe and REEEEEEEEE'ED typing that response. You know there are weaken earrings and weaken pants in game for hsoma, so what difference would it make with these rings on hsoma?

Don't do that = an unsolicited threat = man child syndrome?

Being pked in any game is real tough on your character. Soma is especially difficult because you feel like your whole world is being crushed, and your dreams and aspiration are being ripped from under your feet because weaken procs and as a noncombatant you feel it's unjust. Or just tp or use an immunity pot which is in-game to protect snowflakes like yourself.

I await another REEEEEEEEE response with perfect punctuation, this thread has become fun and trending.

+1 dsoma have them so don't see why hsoma shouldn't?

during WOTW when i use brittle braclets i lose out on 30+MA and by the time my weaken has gone off and i've gone to cast again the person has cured weaken so it hasn't helped me at all if anything it has hindered me.

(note if you are not quick to cure weaken then yes it would have a pvp advantage) but then again bracelets are only 5% so you've then got a very low chance of it going off.
