The economy is scuffed because of bots.
Players have left because of bots. The people playing who are owning PVP are at a guess 80% botters and 95% using gear that was obtained from the help of bots. The community is always accusing one "side" of botting more than the other. GMs don't communicate at all. GMs don't perma ban players botting or if they do its rare. GMs are very rarely ingame checking for bots. GMs have known about the bots for years and not really put anything in place to stop it that we know of. Or if they have it clearly doesn't work. It's all sounding pretty similar to the end of esoma.

Bots do get perm banned when been able to identify the character is botting. Usually end up blocking a whole bunch of connected accounts too but then have to unblock most as can’t be sure if botting. Doesn’t help that a lot of accounts are shared. Can’t be around all the time to check and usually busy with something else, plus most know when I’m around and will logout. Also difficult to have players police this or get players involved due to bias and them also playing the game. Tried a few things in past to make it more difficult but fighting a losing battle on that one. It is impossible to prevent.

Yeah we don’t communicate though right now it’s just me and I’m quiet anyway.

Certain individuals are just obsessed with people with what I'm reading funny how 2 chars are being accused of such none sense yet these individuals are the ones who live on this pixelated game 24/7 doing what exactly? some of these do not even touch the game and have their crafters at 250 skill astonishing how naïve some of you are when it comes to this game yet your all quick on the high horse wagon throwing accusations and start being keyboard warriors when you can not handle the shade being throw back at you very ironic from my perspective.

I'll be honest, I think you're fighting a losing battle because you're fighting it alone. Yes there are some players with a bias but there are also neutral players who don't get involved in any drama and just enjoy the game for what it is. I'm certain you could make an always hidden anonymous GM char for someone to log in and trace around checking for bots. Either by monitoring player behaviour or having a recall aura aura that only works over a short distance so the character couldn't be abused for trace/recall. They could then kick the bots in question and leave a report for you to make the final call and apply the ban. A couple of weeks or active policing and people would soon stop using the bots. The person/people you select could be anonymous so there would be no one saying its biased because we won't know who it is. I'm sure you can see after years of reading the forums and discord who is neutral and could be trusted. You could say if they abuse it in any way then they get a perma ban as well 😅 Lots of people love this game and don't want to see it die. So let them help you combat the dickheads who are ruining it.
