I've been seeing characters that seem to be casting auras 24/7 - is there any point to this?

Thought so; ehe

It is for min/maxing, but the people doing it are probably too far in to stop now.
The end game stat system is broken, everyone will reach the plateau. It's always been about gear. |

think the max dex/ str u can go to aura casting is 40 str and dex
i did it to 35 ish dex and str a few years ago... all looked good to start at low levs..but as u level up, because of the high stats you already have , ur gains are slower .. so.. by the time ur level 50 ish .. u have no more stats than a level 50 who hasn't aura casted.. hence pointless exercise.

Overall the casting aura is similar to healing for int, overall it might gain 1-2 stats in the long haul. Is it worth it, that all depends on the player. There are many ways to increase your final stat count, all depends if your willing to put the time and effort in, but the most important aspect of soma is and always will be the fun you have during your journey.

"RAVENSOUL"...the most important aspect of soma is and always will be the fun you have during your journey. Profound, and 100% correct. |
