Both Scotland and England average 'joes' have had a tough time financially/ recession wise for many years now.
All of us in the UK are governed / ruled not just by politicians..but by the large corporate business world. Prices going the roof.. wages on hold or tiny increases.. Keen, eager Europeans flooding in..taking all the minimum wage jobs.. not because the British wont do the jobs...its becuae the British ppl cant afford to live off the minimum wage shit that most emplyers are paying now.. Since the minimum wage was introduced ..thanks to Tony Blair .. the business ppl have given tiny increases...and basically....we're all fukkin skint. They tell us the economy is doing well...blah de blah.... well.... propoganda..... And propoganda is whats happening in the Scottish vote. Westminster rolling out the big business guys to say they'll have to move south.. jobs will be lost in scotland... The Scots have had the ''frighteners'' put on them by westminster and the corporate world..... cameron/ milliband will probably lose their jobs if scotland vote yes... Businesses and financial institutions will have re- jig their business model and will make things very hard work to sort out. ofc scotland would be able to keep the pound.. it would be in Englands interests to make sure a financial bond was retained... Its a once in a lifetime chance for Scots to have this vote and i think they should have voted YES. Its a chance for normal people power to show the twats at westminster that they had better start listening...and tyhat ur average 'joe' does have a say.. and some power Otherwise the corporates are gona continue to walk over us...pay us shit money , while they continue to fleece us all why they reap the benfits of us normal every day peeps. They say .. if they vote yes..its irreversible'' , to put the frighteners on ppl.. ofc its not reversible.... aother vote at some point... simple.... Scots have been manipulated and sacred into probably voting NO.. And thats bad for us all.. here in England too..... Westminster and the rich business ppl get their own way again..... Anjd life wil continue as normal...... We are all under the thumb...and no1 dares to do anythin about it.... Pity the Scots were bullied into voting no.....

I think the idea of being bullied into voting NO is wrong.
By all means vote YES, but let the YES campaign held by the SNP be honest about what YES really means. The reason it looks like the NO campaign is full of negativity is because there really are going to be many ramifications of voting YES. The two campaigns wouldn't look so in stark contrast of eachother if the YES campaign wasn't painting a false image of "happily ever after". Westminster needs a wake-up call from everyone in the UK. Scotland going at it alone, while still being dependant on either Westminster or the EU really isn't an independent Scotland. That said Lupi, if Miliband, Cameron and Co all lose their jobs as a result of a YES result, I would be real happy!

Gap between the rich and poor getting larger... Look at the average price of a house... 250k...for example . You can have 3.5x ur salary.. Your average joe earns 15-25k ..... No1 is gona have a fukin house soon... How many of u 20-30 year old guys stil lvin with parents....... "S0RCERER"I think the idea of being bullied into voting NO is the wrong idea. this! ofc the no sounds negative, no is a negative word, I think the campaign for no is more factual and will be the right choice. The yes campaign is all pie in the sky and a day dream of Salmond, painting a pretty picture of all things beautiful and sweeping all the shit under the carpet to make the voter vote with his/her heart and not head. I'm all for making a statement to the greedy government arseholes, but doing it to the detriment of your and my country is not the way to do it. But each to their own and its the vote that counts! Whichever way it goes, I hope it all works out! There will be bitterness to follow from the almost 50% who don't get the way they want it. Its bad enough with sectarianism, this vote will bring a new edge to it.

We're all getting thoroughly ''walked over'' by the policies of both labour and tory govts.... They are financed and pressured by the business community.....
Our standard of life getting lower, while the corporate giants get stronger and have increased influence over the politicians..... Things are getting scary.. very scary They need a kick in the ass..... I hope for a YES vote....but sadly.. i dont think its gona be

Tbh, lup the Tories haunt cut anything, its a massive misconception. They have worked out by just printing money instead they can balance the books.
Tbh, it prob wouldn't make any difference even if there was a referendum. For example Its hard to tell there's a border between Britain and Ireland, apart from the odd feature stone carved and a different style of road signs, with speeds measured in KM. Scotlands economy has similar problems to northern Ireland, they both rely very heavily on the public sector, representing over 75% of GDP. Scotland can afford the extra due to oil revenues and Northern Ireland can afford it due to a "block grant" due to our troubled past. Both states are overly public sector bureaucratic, and are very currput and inefficient, for example the Scottish parliament building in Edinburgh (which should have been built in Glasgow IMO) in was originally meant to cost £10-40million and with over runs etc it cost £414 million, it also costs £72million a year to run and galvanised the Edinburgh moral political class of economic parasites that would sooner move to England that to Glasgow. A yes vote would almost certainly create a public sector debt explosion and no no doubt make a lot of new corrupt public servants very rich from brown envelopes in the process.

Not getting into a SomaDebate but the currency issue is a complete fallacy.
In the event of a yes vote you can be rest assured a currency union would be set up quick sharp for threat it would have to the pound if we used without Union. Tomorrow morning at 10am I visit the Fernsehturm Berlin. If it's a no I'm firing myself clean off it ;(

R.I.P iphios,
However as its my duty to be a good somari(t)an <--- get what I did there? :P I am going to try and make you feel a little better, as we know Scotland feel like they are "less" in the united kingdom I am here to tell you us English folk feel the same don't worry my friend.... We both have extreme poverty in our countries and we both get screwed by the government. We have however (this ones important imo) fought together in two world wars for the SAME reason side by side looking out for one another and lets be honest when it's came to warfare Scotland have "bail'd" us out a few times, we both have families losing loved ones recently in a bullshit war that the government should strap up and fight there selves, we have also helped each other in financial situations so no you don't get your freedom in a sense of independence but you keep a brotherhood and lets be honest all brothers "don't get along" until they need eachother. I'd also like to take this time to thank Scotland for the amount of gold medals they obtain for Britain in the winter and summer Olympics :D Also like too add if it's a drug problem iphios speak to FRANK. happy hunting

The currency was never a fallacy, sharing a currency without fiscal integration is dangerous.
The bank of england would become the lender of last resort, and in the event of a recession, would have had to bail you out. No matter though, it is done with. |
