Bots always existed and were never really a major issue until the valour tier grind came in. If the stuff was attainable without the endless loop of grind, forge eating everything, grind then the bots would be much less of an issue. To think for one second that top tier stuff shouldn't drop because of bots is completely and utterly backwards. If that is even part of the reasoning behind the refusal to have useful stuff drop then... well, it certainly explains how we got in this mess in the first place.
