My first char has been a str mage and i am thinking of starting a high dex char alt. What is the ideal dex for a pve and ideal dex for pk char?
Also is it possible to put +healing on gear like you put proc / accuracy etc on gear as I have only seen +healing on rings? (Just interested if it was a thing) Thanks

It depends what you want to use it for. Are you trying to build a dex mage? Or a melee char with good dex?
Dex mages died a death with the 135 cap raise as everyone could get decent dex that way. High dex melee chars are good for melee bosses but tov is a struggle sometimes with low int. This char has 196.6dex 241.9str and 100healed int. he’s brilliant at bosses and because I use a a spear with 5th aura I don’t burn through pots at tov as quickly as it regains about 600HP every time I cast the aura. Although there are chars out there with 190dex 190int and 225str, those are well rounded chars. They won’t hurt massively with melee or int but they survive well at tov. I don’t really pvp these days at all so I can’t tell you any pros or cons on that side.

The healing upgrade doesn’t actually heal the character wearing it.
As for stats, just my personal opinion for building any characters…. I wouldn’t take dex on hsoma above 200 due to amount of experience it uses ideal area 195-200 I wouldn’t take str or int above 240 again due to amount of experience it takes per 0.1

Raven is right with stats going above a certain threshold.
Briggs is 250str 187dex I think and 100int. Tyrese is 246str 181dex 163int. Lauriel is 225str 205dex 125int. Kimosabe is 215str 205dex 146int. I personally now would go 180int, 195dex and as much str as possible, might even make 235str which is decent. A lot of my chars I made them similar as I like to kill bosses rather than survive pvp, or tov I didn’t really take into account properly either.

Okay, thank you everyone.
My current char is a str mage and I have enjoyed my int lvls. So, unsure if I want to be pure melee or more of a dex mage. As I already have one flaviour of mage I may go for a more melee based build. I like the idea of balanced stats. Think I will push 190-195dex, see what my str is like after that hopefully at least 215 and get 180ish int.

If your wanting an all round character, I think Lupi posted his screenshot of his newer character in the gallery with 220 str, 195 dex and 190 int.
